I have been training martial arts for 45 years and Aikido for 20 of those. I have never seen anyone ever be able to actually do the things he was doing laying down, for real, against a resisting opponent or someone they don't train with all the time. Also, what is keeping them hanging one all that time, when you start getting off balance or moved around, let go. No one has ever been able to give me an acceptable answer to why they do it on YT all the time, but it won't work for real. Don't get me wrong I love Aikido but when done in a realistic and actual way. The techniques are very effective and downright deadly why all the mystical jedi stuff?
