Max Richter is playing a bit wrong at the beginning of the twins a few times. These imperfections makes it so perfect to my ears. This might be the best version I’ve listened to. The most honest and sincere for sure. It feels fragile yet so emotional at the same time. So minimalist yet so tragic. Pure melancholy in a musical form. Max might not be the best pianist technically speaking but he delivers a deeply emotional performance right there. Thank you ❤

Her name is Grace Davidson. I believe Sarah Leonard is who sang on the studio version which came out 20ish years ago.
That is so heartbreaking, really, Sarajevo is like a soundtrack to a global inner tragedy.
I would have loved to be there, witnessing this beauty first-hand.

the last song is incredible and from the rythem...it sounds like November but an obvious remix.
and the singer for Sarajevo is insanely incredible...those notes she's hitting are real af...and correct me if I'm wrong, but is the man playing the pianos mr. Richter himself? is so, he's deep into thought during this performance...a true producer / composer.
plus the violinst are heavenly, u know they all have been playing at a very young age...obviously considering the ones I'm seeing look like my grandmother...mad respect to all who performed in this amazing show.
The one thing he is not is deep in thought. Music is beuind thought. He is pure consciousness.
