Ever since seeing ‘Arrival’ hearing this moved me. When I hear this, I think about my aunt and how she had to bury her daughter, my cousin. I listen to this all the time. Thank you
"l have stage 4 cancer. I didnt want to tell you over the phone. But no matter what happens you will ALWAYS be my girl." "I don't love you anymore.I don't think i ever did." " Honey we kept Augie alive as long as we could. The vet said he was suffering." "The last thing uncle John said is that he could never thank you enough for taking care of him." " Mrs. T, I'm so sorry. D. had been dead in the Summer heat for nearly 2 weeks before we found him." All of these scenarios I have live. This would have been perfect background music for any of them. When sadness is so deep words cannot express it, this music speaks for us.
@@seaningorin2412 thank you. It matters that someone cares. Every grain, every molecule of empathy matters. Not just to me, somehow, some way, when we care it helps balance the scales between light and dark.
I'm glad I got this in my recommended, though I wasn't sure if I should cry or smile, but this was beautiful, very much so. Bittersweet, life can be too, sometimes.
Lovely version of this piece but NPR's Tiny Desk concert version was miked better. I hear a hollowness in the violin here that's not in that version. Still, a lovely rendition. It was interesting to watch the eyes of the performers as they played to coordinate their playing.
Hands down one the finest pieces of music ever created. And to boot, (sorry for being so crass, but...), it's an added bonus that the blondes are both quite fetching
Merveilleux!!!

Oh my I have no words to express how beautiful this is
You just did.
Very beautifully played. I wept.
Thanks!❤beautiful love for the soul 🙏
My heart bleeds, and my eyes run like a river; my soul is free.👏🏿👏🏿🎵🎼🎶🕊🕊
Max Richter can be proud of that wonderful cover 🫶
So inspirational hearing and watching you all
Thank you so much💛👏👏👏👏
The greatest mentor of my life once said this song does the same thing as Barber's Adagio for Strings, except it allows for hope.
I think Barber's adagio does allow for hope, though. Especially with the relative major ending
My sorrow is immeasurable, and unfathomable
This comfortable feeling is beyond description, and outclassing
Absolutely Amazing....more please.
I love this piece, you guys were amazing.
Musical elegance.
Viola is the most beautiful instrument every made, definitely played in heaven for Jesus
A very beautiful rendition of this most haunting composition.
Ha, first version that made me cry. It surely is perfect at times! Nice to watch the bandleader's face constantly ;-)
A balm for a troubled soul. Thank you.
What an incredible piece of music 😍
One of my faves
Very good, thank you for sharing it with us
One of the most beautiful covers

I got tears from reading this while listening to the music.

Wow. Slow string pieces are so hard... Beautifully played.
Sometimes in this ugly world beautiful things happen.
My favorite song, beautifully done.
Essa música no final do filme:A chegada,é de arrepiar.Sensacional!

The Brazil loves you

Flirts with melancholy, but the erotic life force maintains a lovely tension.
Impessive work by everyone. The guy in a black shirt had to play and be a director.

I used to think this was the beginning of your story...
bruhhhhh don’t make me cry again from that movie 😭

Mush.
This generation seems to need tranquilizers instead of music.
IN a world of total crap...an oasis
A bit faster tempo. Lighter would me more great.
This is gorgeous. Stop complaining and do lighter and better if it is what you want or just enjoy the moment.
