Yes the bird is in the game,and his name is Ganymede,its Bastion best friend,and the one who calms him when hes eye is red(which means hes in combat mode?),Bastion is the last of the Bastions,Ganymede woke Bastion up when he made a nest on Bastion,(this is the time they met) In the past,(in the lore) Bastion isnt really tan,but orange and with a red eye(duh),there were build by the Omnics(also robots),which made them for War with the humans,And then some time later,the Omnics and Humans made peace(idk why/or how),which the Omnics stop making Bastions,and Destroyed them,except one Bastion,the surviving Bastion(the Bastion that we all love),was in a forest outside the city,overgrown woken up by a bird(that i dont think its species or look does exist),And that is your Overwatch history lesson,i hope that help you Edit:By the way the orange Bastion is also a skin in the game and its called Omnic Crisis

At 1:04, it IS actually meant to be red in Overwatch. Basically the blue light signifies Bastion is calm and the red light signifies he's on alert
