It’s the friends point of view of seeing someone succumb to depression and suicidal tendencies, telling them they are here and that they know how it is hard for them. Some of their songs, especially from this album, didn't appeal to me the first time, but after listening to them several times, they not only grew on me, but also realized their meaning. One of such songs is the next one on this recording, March to the Sea.
