Thank you your video its the only one I saw that actually shows how to replace the lens on the new frames alphas and explains how to release that tab on the left side. I even called Oakley the customer service rep couldn't tell me she did not know. Thanks again for posting helped a lot.

hia. thanks for the great review. i was wo dering how these deal with water? seems like both the goggle and the gasket should be able to keep it out of the interior of the lens. is this correct? how about if su merged while wearing?

Hi dan.. Was trying to pm you.. I'm not shure if u know but Oakley is rereleasing the Juliet and Romeo in the fall along with a half mars model and a Romeo squared.. I'm very excited about .. Can't wait ... It's about time Oakley finally woke up!

I wouldn't trust much from that site, they've had a lot of incorrect information over the years. After checking it out, it seems that someone took my April Fools joke from 2013 and added a few more things. Also 23 colorways of a Mars doesn't make much sense. I can't disprove it, but I'd remain skeptical until we get closer to the Fall. Currently the only confirmed product we've seen is the Wind Jacket 2.0, only because it's falling in line with the goggles, which we usually see previews a season ahead of time rather than only a month or so.
Do they fog up alot?
Is the goggle strap long enough to wear on the outside of a mountain bike helmet? I don’t want to get a traditional Mx goggle bc of the size and think the m frame goggle would be perfect as long as they fit around the helmet
Not sure if you’ve purchased yet but the halo goggles are designed to be worn usually over a ballistic helmet. I think the strap would be long enough, the rough side of the hook and loop will be on your helmet as it’s designed to be secured by that hook and loop both to adjust length but also to attach to the soft velcro patches on ballistic or bump helmets on the back.
Where I see there may be a fitting issue is if the helmet you run comes too far forward on the side at the eyes and the googles won’t recess and sit tight against your against face
I have these googles as I didn’t like the high profile goggles as they wouldn’t ventilate as well when I wear helmets.

Wow now I feel stupid lol, ended up buying new pair instead of replacement lense. Probably order a replacement so I can have 2 pairs of m frames. Does anyone know if you can just buy the nose piece?
Unless they've added some other accessory items since this video, I believe everything I showed was the extent of it. Granted with all the piecing together I did, I think I only was off by about $25 vs the stock options. A quick look on oakleysi doesn't show any nosepieces, sadly.
So what's the best place to get the gasket for my M-frames?

Can you buy the frame and gasket separately?
You can buy the gasket as well as stock configurations of certain frames & lenses. You are limited to those unless you buy a spare lens. The Prizm Jade lens only comes with a white frame, so I bought the Black/Grey and then an accessory lens.
Trying to put together the goggles, it’s ridiculous how hard it is to attach the straps. Any advice on that? I’m twisting as I can while pushing down as hard as I can but it’s not working.
Oh, it was a nightmare. I'm pretty sure that I deformed the plastic getting it on, and it's the main reason I left that one part out of the video. I don't think I could have gotten them off and back on again. I believe the trick was to push and twist it into place at the same time. You can look at the track and see what it's 'supposed to' do, but in practice it doesn't behave as nicely. You'll need to apply a lot of pressure, almost to the point where you think it's going to break. Maybe some Purell or hand sanitizer might help with the tight fit. I never tried again after.
Yeah I’ll try using Purell or something. I don’t know why they don’t assemble it for you, it doesn’t seem very well thought out to have the customer do it when they don’t even give any instructions on how to do so.
