Sketchup is all about using tricks, once you develop them it becomes much easier, learned a new trick for doing stairs fast, by scaling to the right height, amazing.
I'm currently studying diploma in ID and my lecturers never taught us how to use all these skp shortcuts, like how you build the stairs? Makes me look like a fool 😭
@@rioryne7526 How do you do the renderings then? must be very vpu intense to render some videos rhight? Nevertheless awesome work! very clean looking :)

I just finished sketching my projected house plan and seeing this? It makes me wanna learn sketch up and do the same.. This is so cool and nice modern design 👍
Maybe my suggestion is complex for you but I have some ideas when you create your models. Maybe you can split one project into four parts. The first part would be the basic exterior modeling. The second part creates texture and applies to the model. The third one would be modeling the interior (if you have finished the model show us how you place all appliance and other stuff into the interior). The final part would be creating textures for the interior and rendering exterior and interior. I watched a couple different people who work with Sketchup but your style is the best and the most logical. You use many techniques for modeling simple and complex objects and that is very useful for someone who watched your timelapse tutorials.
Extremely fantastic works. Great videos with so much value in them. Dear Sir, if I am a completely beginner in SketchUp, then how much time it would take to produce this much speedy good 3d models and renderings?? Kindly answer this..3d modeling with this speed and rendering.
Dude... you DO know that there are pluggins to make your life easier dont u?? I feel bad while see u suffering that way... use more pluggins be more eficient and use the free time to have fun with family u know...
Cool video but that’s an awful place to put a coffee roaster if it’s actually going to be used. That brick wall is going to soak a shitload of heat and radiate or straight back at you. Maintaining the roaster to any standard will also be a nightmare. If it’s just for looks though it’s good enough.
I love the rendering. It’s beautiful 😍 I’m impressed how fast you are ! I’m just wondering what type of laptop you are using. My laptop is very slow whenever I put plants and more furniture. Also would you be so kind to show in a video how to make the mirrors look realistic?
It's a really good looking design but my problem with it is that the balcony is right over where the drinks are being made and likely where the drinks will be handed out from if that's the case when people are up top and they drop something or dust kicks off from their shoes it will fall into the drinks. If you could find a way to prevent this then this is a really good looking design.
Thank you, yes you are right, this is only the initial concept and there are still many revisions to be faced, I think I will extend the balcony until it fits or exceeds the counter table
@@rioryne7526 Yeah, it's tough because I do like the smaller patio space. This is definitely one of those situations where practicality interferes with aesthetics.
Hello sir.. Amazing video! would you please tell me how did you adjust the camera of final result... it looks like you are walking the way with camera, it looks so realistic! Please help me
Hey ! Great work ! How do you keep your sketchup model from slowing down when you start adding details ? I'm guessing your file must be pretty heavy by the end.
Dude, why are you taking so long to raise the walls? If you have them in DWG format, then use the "make face" and "Import DXF" plugins. Just take the drawing save it in dxf format import it into a sketchup using make face create planes and squeeze out as much as you want. It's also easier! And if the drawing is made using layers, then you can hide doors, windows and everything else before exporting, so that you only have walls. I hope it helps. Sorry for my English ;)

Love the way you made those stairs! They're always the bane of my existence, taking up too much of my time. Will definitely use this method next time.
I feel dumb for the way I used to pull the walls up but at the same time I’m speechless for the way you did the stairs and the roof. You’re iconic
Thank you

does anyone have or know of any good videos to help learn how to use the controls faster and more efficient?

Most of the time they are imported assets placed around

That's a really nice way of using the push/pull tool! I gotta give it a try. I usually just draw every single wall first and then push/pull them
same LOL
LOL. I feel better knowing I am not the only one who did that.

@@rioryne7526 This is good to know since I had the same question as Coa Boy. I'll definitely check it out.
Normally I explode the imported file and make a rectangle outside of the draw borders. After that all walls become editable for pushing.
