The California State Polytechnic University -Pomona, fondly known as the CPP or Cal Poly, is a public polytechnic university located in Pomona, California that was founded in 1938. It is one of two polytechnics in the California State University system. It utilizes a quarter-based academic calendar and it offers bachelor's degrees in 94 majors, 39 master's degrees, 13 teaching credentials and a doctorate.
