Scary hail and thunderstorm at 3,200 ft in Glacier Point via the Four Mile Trail in Yosemite
Scary hail and thunderstorm at 3,200 ft in Glacier Point via the Four Mile Trail in Yosemite. Glacier Point via the Four Mile Trail undoubtedly ranks as one of the top day hikes beginning from Yosemite Valley. Climbing 3,200 feet from the valley floor to Yosemite’s most famous viewpoint on the edge of the south rim, the trail provides inspiring views of Yosemite’s most notable landmarks and an aerial vantage on the valley floor that culminates with the sweeping vista at Glacier Point.
The hike begins at the Four Mile Trailhead along Southside Drive under the towering north face of Sentinel Rock. The early portion of the trail passes by house-sized granite boulders, ponderosa pine and ince...

What day was this? I can't imagine the falls that full of water now in summer.
No comment
It is not September 2023:
Thanksgiving 🍽️ in 2023 is 23rd;
They also tooked the fire 🔥 light 🕯️;
It’s scary drive down the mountain. Focus on the road and don't look over the edge. Drive at a safe comfortable speed, press your brakes now and then to slow your car down, pull over if there’s cars behind you and let them pass, tell everyone in the car to shut up. I wish there were more guard rails.
Thanks for the video. Can you tell me why you call this road dangerous?
Absolutely stunning work friend, spectacular and such a unique scenery!
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
So everyone MISSED the GIANT pyramid
I didn’t like when he turned the light off
If I went there I would load up with as much water/ice as I could carry.
🙏🌹❤️👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
The fire 🔥 light is gone.
Nothing is making the garage and street blocked 😃 yay.
Dang. Many years have past ever seince this incident
I got lost driving to Tahoe last week and ended up on this road not knowing anything about it. Traumatized for life! I'm so glad to see this video so I can enjoy the views
Where is this? Or is it really a secret? And is it flowing during the summer of 2024?
This always made my feet numb
At about 20:00, yes, I do see a single Sequoiadendon giganteum,
LEAVE NO TRACE
Bendiciones 🕊️ por siempre🕊️
Absolutely ❤it
The picture was same;
dangerous?
Thanks for the ride, it brought back childhood memories
Beautifully terrifying.

Why is the drive dangerous?
🙏🌹❤️

This is the most scary and dangerous part of the road around lake Tahoe. Guard Rails should be installed there. I don't think I will pass on that part of the road again
Nice footage of Zion. Have a nice 4th of July
Cool vid. I drove big bad tugunja to Angeles forest by mistake got the first time Friday and it was a cool route home
Someone honk the horn a lot.
I jumped in one of the 4 natural pools and got arrested in 2017. Was worth it...Great spot to be stupid...a day in jail and 5K bail bond...
Why oh why can't we transform these into 4 lane hwys, especially in the flat areas...the desert regions have so much land and I see shoulders wide enough to be transformed into another lane. Sad to see that our extra 50+ cents gas tax not doing much. Hwy 395 up to its connection to the 14 needs to be 4 lane all the way as well...

Good thumbnail! Wish I took the route you are on slower. Next time. Enjoy!
You make no mention of the continued existence of Ned Doheny in the mansion. You need to ask the park rangers about Ned, who has messed with them over the years. The "murder-suicide" was a convenient cover story for the doomed lovers. Unless it's been scrubbed or removed, you can still see the blood stain on the wood floor in the room at the end of the great hall. Crime photos of the incident show the room and blood stain I found when I was working on a production there back in 1995. The last time I worked there about 2004, a Latina woman was the head ranger. She related a story about how Ned would trigger the alarm system over and over. A technician inspected, found nothing wrong, but it still happened, until one incident when she shouted, "Ned! Stop it!" , and it stopped. Greystone was also the original location of AFI, the American Film Institute. As another ranger told me, Ned doesn't like film crews who don't take good care of his house.
Seen any bigfoots?
Any idea what site number you were at? Looking to roadtrip from WV
Drove it today trying to find a beautiful sunset & my soul left my body. Definitely not survivable. Never again.
Looks wonderful.❤
Was this filed at Potwisha campground?
Im a scaredy cat, and i didn't find it that bad. Colorado mountain roads are worse, sheer cliff next to your wheels
Thanks for sharing! Going to LA in a few weeks and I'm thinking about doing that hike. This video gives me a good sense of what it's like. Definitely gives me pause. I'm not crazy about heights.
Seen one of the tour buses brakes give out and crashed into some cars at the turnout. Smelled the radiator fluid all the way down. Scary drive indeed.
