The chair summon, if you sit in it, makes you recover MP faster.
The Triwheel Buer shard summons a single Buer, which you can hit into enemies, and as long as you can repeatedly keep it between you and an enemy you can deal massive contact damage to enemies. It's particularly useful in the Valac fight, though you need to sequence-break up to the upper Livre Ex Machina or the Hall of Termination to get it in the main game. Furthermore, you can also jump kick off of it and get to higher places -- letting you get some items earlier. It even jumps right after you do, meaning you can jump kick off of it when it's in the air -- potentially letting you go even higher!
There are two other enemies you can ride on -- the two bovine enemies, in the Garden and the Oriental Sorcery Lab.
I didn't know you could lure enemies into the iron maidens! And is that a :3 face on the outside afterwards?
If you sit down at the piano and wait a while, Miriam will play an instrumental track regardless of familiar (even without Dantalion), except when you have the Carabosse familiar active, in which case it'll be a song. Dantalion only looks like it's being the music score since it's scripted to open up like a book in front of Miriam anytime she's sitting.
Pretty sure getting below Valac is a bug, but I hope they keep it around since it's glorious.
The useful thing about Bunny isn't just the kicks, but rather it strengthens ALL your "martial arts" abilities like slide and the jump kick downs. This adds a whole new layer to melee gameplay as you can swap back and forth between standing in front of a monster to slash it or jumping up and avoiding its attacks but continue to deal high damage as you step on their head.
And also, like all good Castlevania games, the physics engine still allows you to animation cancel slashes with the landing and back dash. So jump, slash right before you land, land and slash, backdash and slash, and you'll be able to do 3 consecutive slashes canceling each other super quickly.
I find it rather difficult to cancel animation by jumping, I used it on every Castlevania so I dont know what gives. Instead of.a.quick flurry with jump and backdash, I adopted bunny hopping, you attack mid-air only, its more consistent and mobile!
Also potions hidden above the draw bridge you lower before entering the "Entrance" area
I've already gotten a platinum trophy, I'm just here cause I love this game 👍
It's a beautiful mix of SotN and Aria+Dawn of Sorrow
This game feels kinda vibes of dawn and aria of sorrow
I found gebel boss bug. If you fight gebel and stand too close with the door. When gebel grab you, he will take you outside and you will stuck there.
Experience this bus as well
Please never say “Castletroid” again.
yea...it annoys me a lot.
I heard many names but "castletroid"? My god...
Metroidvania, and period.
Or Igavania.
I went to the comments the second I saw that lol. I love it. It sounds like an epithet
Heres one you may not have seen. The "Poltergeist" enemy in the compendium changes each time you go over it and one of the pictures is Iga himself. I think a few other cast members are some of the other portraits throughout the game or something CV based at least
The Poltergeist portraits also change every time you visit any room with them, except for the one room at the top of the castle with IGA's portrait.
Low-key the fairy sounds like a Disney princess lol
It's beautiful!
Good video but what drugs did you take when you called it Castletroid instead of Metroidvania
Agreed , we may have a poser among us
Am i the only one who noticed the portal painting is link playing the warp flute? Tell me im late. Only started playing two days ago.
The trap that is in the Garden of Silence can be used By Miriam, Zangetsu, Bloodless, or Aurora if any of them can lure an enemy into that trap. most likely a Plume Parma. However, Miriam is the only one that can also use the Craftwork Shard to move that trap as well.
if you summon buer, you can bunny hop attack on its head, and gain access to high jump stuff before you're meant to reach them
Kunekune can be beaten easy by jumping on the roof and go left to the space between the wagons. I can not reach you there but you can use any shard that attacks through the wall. I mostly use the one from the sword armors.
The twin dragon boss happened to me my first play through I thought that's how the game was 😊
❤️🖤❤️🖤 this game is in my top ten ! Even better than I thought it would be
This is really amazing, i'm checking every corner of the map to look for hidden chest. Never thought there is also hidden space that you can get in.
And hidden monster inside the train is cool too.
Kunekune only appears for Miriam, and not for Aurora, and possibly not for Zangetsu and Bloodless as well. Now as for how to beat Kunekune, you only need to go quickly to the left and then trap them in a place where they cannot move further towards you and then just hack away at Kunekune and, boom, you win that fight with minimal to no energy loss, as well as no Curse inflicted upon Miriam as well.
I also have to add that the Chariot Buer, which is a tougher form of the Triwheel Buer, can also be rode upon if you are in the Den of Behemoths. However, you should avoid approaching it from the rear, as it has a Gusion Cannon on the back, or, more accurately, on the inside of the Chariot Buer. However, once you kill the Gusion Cannon, then you can treat the Chariot Buer like a Triwheel Buer.
I think it's just a Cannon Morte rather than a Gusion Cannon.
there is a secret location inside the train near the exit, when you have the cheap crown equipped, you don't get off the train you go to another 8 bit area and face the boss, when you finish the fight you get a familiar 8 bit archer , I discovered this last week.
btw pretty nice video🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Wow your a legend for this info holy smokes it’s actually true
Actually, the Summon Buer thing can be useful if you have slow moving enemies. Personally, I would have made it function more like the Spin Wheel Weapon from Mega/Rock Man X2, though, as that kind of weapon would be very useful against tougher enemies in the game.
The intro was funny haha
Same thing happened to me too on that twin boss and I thought it was part of the fight lol.
I have never been so offended by a word 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣it feels like it hurts and gives bad days lololol
Were you high on paint thinner when you wrote "Castletroid"?
It's because I played Castlevania before Metroid, that's all. I like both anyway.
😭😭😭
@@baileysacg3992 If only when I posted that name to Wikipedia years ago it didn't get taken down for being "original research"...if only it stayed up, that name might have stuck. I prefer it a lot over "metroidvania", because it only takes part of each franchise name and because flows better off the tongue.
nice song.
how to high jump like that at 7.51
is it just me or does Miriam look like Albedo?
whats the wrong track called?
Now on the Shovel Armor thing, you can also use the Shovel without the Shovel Armor as well, just saying.
I like thid game But im scared at the hidden monster
Was no valkyrie dress there
Ya'll are being mean, dragging him for saying castletroid. Hes just being silly 🤭 maybe you are too 😆
Genre should be called “Search-Action” instead of metroidvania
castletroid? lmao, it's called "metroidvania"
"Castletroid" is a better name anyway, because it's got only part of "castlevania" and part of "metroid" in it, rather than all of "metroid", and it also flows off the tongue better.
I weird on that Chests of OD
What is an fc game
A miserable little pile of secrets!! Hahaha just kidding, I assume it stands for "Famicom"
CaStLeRoId 🤣🤣🤣
I'm going to remove your toenails with a potato peeler if you call anything a "Castletroid" ever again
"Castletroid" is a better name for "metroidvania" anyway. Borrows only parts of both franchise names (instead of all of one), and also doesn't have the awkward "dv" syllable combination.
