Happy Saturday Sarah!!! That car is a time capsule for sure, super cool finding the plate and frame in the side cubby. You should stick the googly eyes to everything in the shop fridge next door and on tools and such.😁 Stay excellent!!!😎
Love how you have kept the Celica jdm time correct. Those wheels are Australia correct but iits your flair. The skid factory cut into a skyline to add to the wheel archers, the skyline turned out a beast.
So glad you are finally painting the door, ever since you pointed it out in the reveal I notice it everytime you show the car. And thanks for all the asshattery.
The 69-70 Mustang Boss 302 looked great with the optional black rear window shade along with the rear deck wing. The Boss 302 was a gorgeous vehicle especially in yellow with all the black stripes and trim pieces.
In November 1983, I bought a new black 84 Supra when I was stationed at Ft. Hood, TX. Your car brings back so many memories. That body style is one of my favorites. Thanks for all of your hard work and your Air Force service.
This Celica Supra gets a lot of goodies installed. Hope this giveaway will pay you back all the cool stuff you've bought for it. Also, awesome GR86 T-shirt! 👍
My 1st car was a black AMC Spirit with louvers on the back window GT El Dorado raised white lettering tires,Tinted windows. Your Toyota is going to look great in my garage.
The care and attention given to this awesome Celica, the snacks, the quirky Sarah content. Hope you enjoy those snacks Sarah 😊. Maybe a snack review in the future?
My favorite is inside that rear passenger cubby. There is a cover at the deck level for the rear washer fluid bag. You wonder how you are going to fill it without spilling then look at the cover in your hand and realize it is also a funnel that fits right in... so many thoughtful touches on this car. The tethered light under the hood and the one in the center console are pretty cool too!
Your doing it 100% right, i took a paint and body class at a local school, and we restored my MK3 supra, this was 15 years ago, and getting OEM parts was nearly impossible back then. We left the windows and trim alone. It looked fantastic, until a tree fell on the garage it was parked inside 3 years later, and went all the way to the ground, flattening everything in between, including the car.......
Looking at you work on this vehicle, brings back so memories when I was in high school. This is my favor vehicle you're giving away by far and the fact it is a manual transmission too. That is just dope!
The car probably had tape pinstripes down the sides at the time that door was painted which is why the paint line is just below the crease instead of on it. Then as time went on the stripes looked bad and were removed .
As busy as you are, I wish you could make more vids. That said, please take the time to care for your self before anything else. Thanks for the update on the Supra.
Glad you don’t have to do anymore bodywork before paint, just a little sanding. Those side skirts are gonna look sick. I hope who ever wins it appreciates how much work you have done to it.
Dear Sarah, your border-line OCD is only a blessing in its relentless quest for quality assurance. A sincere thank you for all the mad-levels of originality, attention to detail and sheer visual splendor
First of all love your Rage shirt! Love seeing the Toyota’s. I know that Celica will look super awesome to give away when you get finished. Something about people working on cars like this is so gratifying. Because I don’t have the patience to do it. ✌️Till the next video
Sioux makes a DA sander that is set up to attach to your vacuum. They are not prohibitively expensive and do a great job of helping keep the shop clean.
OmGOSH!!! my 83 Celica was rotten with New England rust back in 93, especially the hatch!! I was always jelly of the supras, now even moreso! That sweet car is lucky to be getting the Sarah treatment
i am always happy to watch Give it the Beans and Sarah n Tuned content. NEVER Once have i thought to myself "this is less enjoyable because of the way Sarah looks". I realize you won't read this. Also - maybe one googly eyes for a penguin and one for the control panel on a lift.
I have title to a 92 Supra, same as this one, stuck in remote junk yard in DeBorgia MT that is out of business. I have the right tail light for this and can list for you. Fabricated wings in the back. Perfect transmission and body, no rust. Free if you want to deal with it. (Once I take off a door handle, It never goes back. Just tape guys)
I don't like that you and FOOD CAKE won't be together. Y'ALL ARE A HILARIOUS TEAM. You and him have the potential to grow even more.. BE SAFE and STAY COLORFUL 💞💯
I bought louvers like those back in the 80’s ….. twice. 😂 And a lot of those era cars collected water under the trim by the windows and rusted out. Finding original plates is cool.
I am not sure it will be going to some lucky person. To be clear, it is not Sarah that I believe will fail us but Power JDM that is handling the orders. Has anyone actually received their order? I still haven't after it "shipped" 17 days ago.
I absolutely love the detail you go to while working on this car. It's also contagious, I swapped out my wiper motor on my Audi A6 Avant yesterday, also cleaned out all the years of debris behind the scuttle panel, all the while thinking: what would Sarah do? My marbles are not all in the same bag...😅
I love these Supras. My sister had a red one. I think it was an '84. It was so fun to drive. I love your videos, Sarah. Keep up the great work. -Trevor in Utah
Watching from Down Under and loving this stuff. I have a 1982 RA60 Celica XT that’s now been retired, but I’m thinking of putting it back on the road under car club registration soon. It’s a great old car.
FYI..in the old days instead of removing a glass held in with rubber weather stripping, we would raise up the edge of the rubber weather stripping and put in a small diameter nylon rope under the rubber weather stripping to hold it up so you can paint under there...still mask of rubber weather stripping... makes for a real nice retail paint job...
I am extremely impressed with the quality of finish on this Toyota. You are doing an amazing job, as usual. Also I am impressed you played some 80's music in the background. 😃👍
My first sports car was an 82 L type and YES parts are super hard to find. I worked my buns off finding a body kit, stroker kit, and other stuff for it. Then I used a turbo kit off a 7MGTE for my ride. Damn I miss that car. It was so easy to work on and so rewarding to drive.

Googly eyes the everything! Posters, coffee makers, pets, etc
The Supra is coming along nicely. Can't wait to see it with the skirts and new kicks.
Those side skirts are so cool. I love what a difference they make on older cars.
Those 82 Celicas last forever, a family friend had one and did close to a million miles literally.
I remember those back window louvers. I always thought they looked so cool.
You have a GR Shirt GO GR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Back in the day, if you saw three of those in one day two of them would have had those louvers.
I love them!
I also like the louvers, only wish they made some that would fit my 2010 Venza
Happy Saturday Sarah!!!

Any shop tool that moves back and forth while you use it, like the sander 😂, thanks for another great video, from the UK.

Really enjoying the Celica series. Your attention to detail is next level ! Wow. Looking forward to seeing the new wheels
The Lovers are Magical. That's where all the Celica magic comes from 😎
Dig the louvers. Always liked them on fastback stuff going back to the late 60’s mustang. My vote; repaint them.
