Happy to point you in the direction of David Reid Ross-I think you might enjoy the Averoigne Legacy collection edited by Edward Stasheff-it’s a collection of contemporary authors working in CAS’ setting (although this one does cross over with the Singing Flame duet of tales which are more science fiction or planet stories than fantasy or even Averoigne)
