As others have said, the trestles are astonishing. Also ambitious grades with the live steam made effortless with RC. Well done. Very inspiring. Thanks.
I must’ve watched this video a 100 times I’m anxiously awaiting the arrival of my coal fired 25 love your layout. I need to build trestles like yours but have no idea where to start to complete my layout
Thanks for the great compliment! I have been building this layout for 18 years, a new project every year, most of the ideas I have from the RGS Volume series, the entire system is based on the RGS Railroad. I am still fascinated by this bridge design. Have fun with the nice C25. :)
La loco est superbe ainsi que le circuit. J'ai apprécié la prise d'eau au château d'eau et les deux séquences du chargement en combustible. Le viaduc courbe est remarquable. Le tournage du film est de bonne qualité et la machine est parfaitement conduite. Bravo!
Hey, I have a 4.8V Accu for the Remote Control System, the Accu fits perfectly under the tender, from there with seperate cable to the locomotive connected by BC plug, at the locomotive I used the thinnest copper wires and an LED soldered. Best regards
Hello mate! Can you tell me how long can she run for and on how much coal? And how often to fill her up with water for the steam? And your layout is great! Beautiful accucraft engine.
You have a beautiful layout. I just bought a C-25 (butane fired), and was wondering how much of a slope she can handle. I'm just starting to build my railroad and some of the tracks will be at a 2.5 degree slope. Is that too much?
as everyone else is saying, this looks great, how did you get the train to stop at the water tower again? is there a switch under the engine that get switched as it passed through the crossover?
I love your railroad, very impressive locomotives as well. You've made me a live steam fan for life! Could you tell me what the approximate dimensions of your layout are?
Thank you so much! It happened to me as well 15 years ago everything started. The layout is 120 feet long and 7-20 feet wide. Enjoy the most beautiful hobby in the Wörld! :)
Can't have a Chuffer in a Coal-Fired Engine, the smokebox becomes too crowded and the engine can't draft properly. Also the chuffer actually softens the blast on the fire, and it makes trying to clean the flues after a run impossible,
@@jamesm6638 it would be nice if Lionel did some live steam engines for the o gauge market maybe using electric boilers and all you'd need to do is make sure there is water in the boiler and if it gets too low it automatically shuts down to prevent damage
@@katerinakittycat3849 there have been O scale live steam engines for decades... but if you ask me, live steam is really about the larger gauges like 7.5", 15", 5", etc
@@jamesm6638 probably but with my tight space o gauge is probably the biggest I could go. The have been o gauge live steam engines but they're pretty much all British or European looking engines. I haven't seen any American live steam engines in o gauge

Very good safety valve.
The loco worked well a bit like a full sized version.
Well done and keep up the good work.
Gorgeous layout. And great running locomotive. Good looking train too

Fantastic Garden-Railroad with a fantastic Locomotive!! Thumb up and thank you for sharing us!
This looks so real. Love the bridges.
@tymotheuspel569 It IS real ;-)

Thanks!
What a fantastic awesome set up; not only the train, bet the whole rail scenery as well....
Hi, great video, I've just bought a un steamed C25 today hopefully runs as well as yours. Cheers Mick. Stay safe.
What a impressive garden railroad ! And a very nice run of your locomotive ! Vriendelijke groet Peter .

Real nice layout you got there man. Good job
Thanks
Wow, I couldn't be more impressed!
Very neat engine. That live steam is neat. Thanks for the video.
Great. Mabeles. Greetings from germany. Merry christmas
In the process of adding this beauty to my roster. Along with my aster fef-3 and my accucraft Shay. Can't wait to fire it up for the first time
Gorgeous Engine and Gorgeous Layout! I'm so Envious! :D
Amazing!
fantastic video, love the steam engine! love the set up too! hope to see more future vids!
Lovely locomotive and also superb Railroad must have taken many hours to build !
Wow!
Any details on adding a working headlight, I am looking to add one to my 25 as well, thanks

hey fun video
Where is this railroad I would love to see it 1 day??xx
Absolutely lovely. What is the length of the track you have laid?
Thank you!
The length is 450 feet.

Now that's what I call a real train set engine

Hi, Thanks!
The C25 has power!
2.5 degre is my maximum for other Engines.
Very superb!
Thanks!
Is there any way you could send me a picture of you’re radio setup. I’m trying to reside on how to rc mine and need some inspiration. Thanks.
as everyone else is saying, this looks great, how did you get the train to stop at the water tower again? is there a switch under the engine that get switched as it passed through the crossover?
Hi, thank you very much for your compliment.
The locomotive is controlled by servo and radio.
@@riograndelivesteamline6548 wow, I didn't think it'd be possible to have all that and live steam in the model

You are very. Very. Very. Very. Very. Very. Very. Very. Very. Very very very. Very. Genius genius genius. Genius. Genius. Man
Tell me you haven’t added an chuffer to this engine? It sounds glorious.
No, that's the real chuff, a chuffer does not need this loco

It's right :)
Your Working Water Tower... is it scratch built or one you bought???
Hello. This is a self-made by me, according to original plans of the Water Tower Rico, the Depot Rico I have also recreated. Best regards
@@riograndelivesteamline6548 Thanks! It looks good. I'm going to build me one too.
What an awesome layout! What is your minimum radius (R3?), and what track do you use? Thanks!! I'm wicked impressed!
Awesome but no coal smoke out front stack from fire box.oh well AOC might like that
Can we please have a doubleheader...
Hey, it's possible someday, but at the moment I do not have a 2nd heater and you have enough work on your own with a loco.

What grade do you have on that track??
Hi, the slope is 2-3% on the track
Thanks

So it's a real engine but small
Yes but I'd like to see the steam and smoke from front chimmney
well... that... is what live steam always has been
