  • Your hands can save lives.
CPR is easy to learn, children can do it.
Doing something is always better than doing nothing.
This film is a demonstration of single-rescuer CPR and AED skills on an Ambu Mannequin. A second sequence is shown at the end of how to perform these skills as a two-person team.

30 fast chest compressions, at least 2 inches deep, followed by 2 breaths. Do 100 compressions per minute, until help arrives.

What do you do with patients who have NG tube insitu for either drainage or feeding when you want to CPR

Before you start CPR you have to remove the clothing from the chest. In the second part it is shown correctly to ask the second bystander for assistance..

Good training method but when you perform this in person then you understand the pushing force required in the process. There is meter to show as to how hard you are pressing and the required force.

too slow considering you have to give 100-120 compressions a minute

True... But to better understand.. 2 quick compression per second.

Its great to see a human-like, non-naked mannequin ( not sure about the subliminal, bare-chested track suit message, lol ) And is this chap BAME or just a frequent attendee at sunbed parlors ? !
All good & well paced demo'. .
QUESTION:- e-LFH author of equivalent BLS training Part 1 , suggests that putting DOMINANT hand on top is better ( I must try it and see when I next have access to a Resusci-annie etc ) Any thoughts on this tip ??

Perfecto pero el CERCP indica se den 2 insuflaciones sino 5, previas a las 30 compresiones

Ok. She made a few mistakes with this, I’m a qualified First Aider as of today(14/12/21) I took my course from a man who used to train in the hospital and the nursing department and thought young people how to save lives. First mistake this lady made was she forgot to take off his top because when giving compressions you have to make sure that you are working with a bare and naked chest. Another mistake I picked up on is she never did the sign scene safe that’s very important because you want to make sure that the patient is in a safe place for you to be able to do CPR on them, if they aren’t in a safe place then the thing you have to do is not to enter Ik that might be cruel because you don’t want to leave a person dying there but you have to make sure your safety is first so therefore you don’t enter where is scene is not safe. Another mistake I noticed she didn’t do was when she was given the AED kit she forgot to wipe down the chest area normally you should have like a small hand towel or something, the reason being is because you want to make sure that they have no residue on their chest if they do u have to make sure to wipe it down, so for example if they were just out of the water and u needed to do cpr on them you would have to wipe the chest down so that when the shock is being delivered it will give them a shock because you have it right, same with a hairy chest you have to make sure to wipe the chest first then you have to make sure the hair is removed cos the AED will say that their is no shock advised which means that theirs something wrong. To remove the hair of the chest you should have a razor in it if not put your own one in, all you have to do is wipe it first then you dry shave the chest but u don’t do it in a shaving motion u do it in like a scratching motion.
