In the case of giving cpr to adult we dont need to give rescue breath at first ? as you gave 5 rescue breaths for both baby and children before starting the cpr.
Thank you for your question about CPR licence training. The length of CPR training depends on the specific certification course you're taking. For basic CPR certification, such as Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW), the course typically lasts for one day, around 6-7 hours. If you need further details or help booking a course, feel free to let me know!
CPR can sometimes cause rib injuries, especially in older or fragile individuals, but saving a life is the priority. Proper technique reduces the risk, though deep compressions are necessary for effectiveness. Any injuries can be treated after the person is successfully revived. Hope this helps!
They work best in combination with a AED. However, compressions only can be used. The recuse breath was more so during Covid or just an individual preference.
If you are performing CPR and hear or feel a rib break, you should keep going. Of course, the victim's chest will hurt when they wake up, but the one thing that matters is that they're alive.
We inhale 21 %of oxygen and 0.04%co2 and while exhation 15 percent of oxygen and 4 percent co2 .And rescue breaths is helpful for those who is not breathing.
Lady is a great instructor, video should be used as master instruction video, Very professional, non nonsense, she stays on track.

Thanks for the video, I learned and understand better.
Why didn't you check for a pulse before breathing?
Asking for my self and others for how long should l trained for CPR licence

Do we need to check pulse?
Yeah if there is pulse it means there is heart beat and U cannot do CPR if there is a heart beat.
This is so good
Great video,I'm not a medical person...but just out of curiosity.....is there any harm to the bones or ribs of the victim?hope for a response...

Can I ask a question please? During the two rescue breaths, is it a "breath in" or "a breath out" on the victim's mouth?
Breathe in
@stephenomondi6829 only a "breathe in " ?? No breathing out ?
@@OlaniyanImisioluwa yes
You are breathing Out into the victims mouth.
Very educative.well explained
Thank you!
I learned alot thank you!(
We're glad it was useful!
Bleeding is listed twice rather than breathing then bleeding
Otherwise, it's a great video! I've been cpr certified since 2008, but I always panic when I'm due for recertification.
Pls do you suck air out or blow air in,i don't really understand that part. Can someone help?
I was under the impression that recuse breathing was no longer used and you are supposed to just do chest compressions
They work best in combination with a AED. However, compressions only can be used. The recuse breath was more so during Covid or just an individual preference.
Would you still do mouth to mouth if there was a neck wound? Ie. Stabbing.
But what if you break the person's rib??
If you are performing CPR and hear or feel a rib break, you should keep going. Of course, the victim's chest will hurt when they wake up, but the one thing that matters is that they're alive.
So you breath meaning you send CO2 in the CPR body?
We inhale 21 %of oxygen and 0.04%co2 and while exhation 15 percent of oxygen and 4 percent co2 .And rescue breaths is helpful for those who is not breathing.
Thank you friend ❤@@shahidkhan-jk4ul
