    In the case of giving cpr to adult we dont need to give rescue breath at first ? as you gave 5 rescue breaths for both baby and children before starting the cpr.

    Asking for my self and others for how long should l trained for CPR licence

    • @getlicensed
      @getlicensed  3 месяца назад

      Thank you for your question about CPR licence training. The length of CPR training depends on the specific certification course you're taking. For basic CPR certification, such as Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW), the course typically lasts for one day, around 6-7 hours.
      If you need further details or help booking a course, feel free to let me know!

    Do we need to check pulse?

    • @eldave7826
      @eldave7826 5 месяцев назад

      Yeah if there is pulse it means there is heart beat and U cannot do CPR if there is a heart beat.

    Great video,I'm not a medical person...but just out of curiosity.....is there any harm to the bones or ribs of the victim?hope for a response...

    • @getlicensed
      @getlicensed  2 месяца назад +2

      CPR can sometimes cause rib injuries, especially in older or fragile individuals, but saving a life is the priority. Proper technique reduces the risk, though deep compressions are necessary for effectiveness. Any injuries can be treated after the person is successfully revived.
      Hope this helps!

  • @michaela6147
    @michaela6147 6 месяцев назад +3

    I was under the impression that recuse breathing was no longer used and you are supposed to just do chest compressions

    • @lpeoples1868
      @lpeoples1868 3 дня назад

      They work best in combination with a AED. However, compressions only can be used. The recuse breath was more so during Covid or just an individual preference.

  • @786annah

    Would you still do mouth to mouth if there was a neck wound? Ie. Stabbing.

  • @oriethawilliamson1469

    But what if you break the person's rib??

    • @getlicensed
      @getlicensed  15 дней назад

      If you are performing CPR and hear or feel a rib break, you should keep going. Of course, the victim's chest will hurt when they wake up, but the one thing that matters is that they're alive.

    So you breath meaning you send CO2 in the CPR body?

    • @shahidkhan-jk4ul
      @shahidkhan-jk4ul 8 месяцев назад +4

      We inhale 21 %of oxygen and 0.04%co2 and while exhation 15 percent of oxygen and 4 percent co2 .And rescue breaths is helpful for those who is not breathing.
