DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE!
I bought these exact coil packs for my 2015 f150. They seemed great for about 14 months, then they started going bad one by one throughout month 14 through month 18 since they were installed. Of course they decided to start going bad right after their warranty, almost like they know when they start failing. Each time one went bad, it was the same exact scenario. First, you’ll be able to feel your truck sporadically misfiring (cold or hot), but it isn’t enough to trip a check engine light. After about a month of them sporadically misfiring, they’ll decide to completely give up. At that point, your engine feels like a bucking bronco, and check engine light shows its ugly face.
I’ve replaced 5 of the 8 coil packs at this point. My OEM coil packs were fine when I originally put these MSD coil packs on my truck. At that time, my truck had 50k miles. Luckily, I kept all the stock coil packs, and have been forced to put the OEM coil packs in one by one. The OEM coil packs have been far more reliable than these $500 coil pack sets. I used to be a die hard believer of all MSD products, but I can assure you that I will never buy another MSD ignition coil again, for any of my vehicles. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money. Trust me

I have a '13 GT, with 125K on the clock. Is there a point where one just should replace the packs, or would you wait until there are failures?

Unless it’s showing any problems what so ever, I wouldn’t invest unless it’s causing problems.

If you are at 125k without misfires I’d be surprised if they weren’t changed once. Mine started misfires around 94k

Do u guys test the products that u hype to us as being the best for performance bang for the buck or just alternitave options for parts we already have stock from the factory when i say performance money is not that big of a deal in the long run if the parts work and produce more power and efficiency as stated not saying this channel but most times salesmen will verbatim give u the specs of what a company says about their own product on their website and the product package there are a bunch of mixed opinions about so called high performance coils vs stock coils would be cool if u guys could test and compare brands from the aftermarket vs stock where the money starts to matter is buying shyt that dont work and sometimes parts u cant send back
