This is still highly delicious 10 years later.
a lot of these people need to realize it's actually quite hard and amazing how they use the same tone and come up with tons of different songs and choruses and verses, it's an art. Get into it. Hipster.

Does anyone know which pedals they're using? Obviously some fuzz pedal, but it sounds like it's more than just that. Maybe a booster? Any ideas?

Really the dig the sound and the songs, but the vocals are a tad low in the mix.

Guitar is PERFECT!; vocals could be mixed a little higher but still good; drum tech: you actually need to plug the cables into the desk, ok!? Seriously, this could have been landmark...
... Ok, in the second half of the set, I could hear symbols and hi-hat and a couple of rolls, but really....

the white stripes without a vocalist, speak up man!
kind of tired of every blues rock band sounds the exact same, right down to the riffs and the vocal delivery. You can always tell the difference between muddy waters and bb king, but you can't tell the difference between these guys, the white stripes, or reignwolf.
Do you really think that studying or writing music qualifies you to generalize the entire worlds populations oppinion or personal preference on music? That's a pretty daring statement. There are tons of ways to introduce variety into music, changing tones is just one of them. It takes skill and wit to make several songs in the same tone, but these guys are definately not the first to have done it, and many before them have claimed massive success by doing so. Being bored is an individual measure
