I’m 52 . The first band I saw in London aged 14 was Echo and The Bunnymen, the second The Cure, the third New Order. Came across The Drums on a Spotify playlist and found a band who is taking what those bands started nearly 40 years ago to a new melodic level. Just superb.

Is scary how good they sound live.
The basics. Example: Brian Wilson recorded The Beach Boys in mono and nearly every one of their tunes is eternal. And it's very much like the sound of The Drums.
These live performances really separate the genuine talents from everyone else - this band is fantastic
good talent and good sound mixing. props to the sound engineer that is working it back there!

The transition of pitches and tones from his casual way of speaking to his singing is amazing. You can really tell the amount of passion and energy he puts into it.

It could be for the audio quality because I saw them live in my city and they are awesome definitely but the audio quality was no good.

I've been ''into'' The Drums for about 1 year, and oh my goddess I LOVE THEM SO MUCH, their vibe is so freakin' amazing. The 'thing' that The Drums makes me feel is so incredible and nothing made me feel this way before.

if you turn your delay pedal to max delay, max feedback/repeat but turn the time to a really low setting (but not too low), you get an exotic type of reverb. I'm not sure that this is what is happening here but its fun to play with. It has a very alien type of vibe to it and i recommend it.
My goodness.The singer is so fucking phenomenal. He is so passionate about singing, and the way he smiles and closes his eyes omg i fell in love with him and the whole band in general ♥♥

I am constantly amazed by the speed at which they, as a band, synchronize. It's literally just a few seconds from the drumstick count-off and everything is already in motion.
Saw them live a couple of weeks ago, posibly the best concert i've ever been to. Jonny is an awesome frontman/dancer.
