Well done, got great results. Remember that reflections on water, in reality are always darker than what the water is reflecting above it. I always watch for that when I darken skies that are reflecting in water.
Cracking selection of frames mate well worth the revisit. For a moment there I thought you were going full on gav ardcastle with the old refleceeesion.
Stephen the shot with the timer for me is the best one, did you input plus two stops in your light meter or just added it on to shot time. I have the same meter and a couple of times now I have forgot I have added or taken away stops, not much of a problem with colour film, but very important shooting velvia 50. I have not shot a lot of velvia 50 this year, but used to shoot it 40 years ago in my old Bronica S2a. Stunning place and shots .
Great shots Stephen :) With the Mamiya 6 and 7 you need a short, light cable release with a more pointy end. The heavier ones can snap easily leaving the tip in the cable release port and making it a pain to repair.
Just lovely Stephen. Some real winners there. I'm curious if you have ever shot the pre 2005 "Velvia". I feel the current reformulated "Velvia 50" exhibits a much more magenta cast than the original stuff. I actually kind of like it though to be honest.
Thanks, Jason 🙏 Only used the new stuff. This role was expired and had a stronger cast than I’ve seen before. I normally remove more of it but I don’t mind some in this photo.
Wonderful images. Great narrative. 👏🙏🏻
Thank you 🙏 Glad you enjoyed it.
Loving that Velvia Stephen. Nice one.
Thanks mate 🙏
Beautiful results, Velvia 50 really strikes the perfect balance of color in this set.! Great watch!
Thank you 🙏
The one at 11:40 is cracking. Fair play, very interested in your Film photography videos. Thanks
Thanks, Rob 🙏

Great video, Stephen! What a view! Those Velvia shots are beautiful! I think the third and fourth shots are my favourites 🙂
Thanks man, glad you like them 🙏
@@StephenMilner no worries man! This makes me want to revisit a location I know :)

Thanks mate, I probably realised I was saying it mid way and then tried to recover. 😂
@@StephenMilner thought that mate good save. 😂😂❤️📷
Struck gold there !

Love film photography. Regards Barrie

Stunning place and shots .
Thank you 🙏 I worked out the meter reading without adding anything and then increased the shutter dial by the required stops.
Thanks! I admire your perseverance. The results were worth the pains. Why Fuji Velvia 50 “to get as much light as possible out of the sky”?
Thanks, I meant to say colour there.

Thank you 🙏 I have had this happen to me three times. I have ordered a Nikon AR-3, hopefully it works better.
@@StephenMilner where did you order the AR-3 from? I've been looking for one for a while
What do you use to calculate compensation? Love you vids!
