Frida lot's of bubbles, if it doesn't work swim with a snorkel , lifting the head when the legs float (because of the suit) will create an arch in your lower back. Can you swim without a suit ?
Normally I don't use a suit but I need it for a long distance swim in cold water. I probably just need to practice more with it. Thanks for the tip. I will try to make more bubbles.
Sorry, but tip #3 is nonsense.Gliding means no propulsion, i.e. you slow down, i.e. you sink. No olympic swimmer glides a second. Swimsmooth have analyzed Sun Yangs 'gliding phase' and measured some 0.14s of stretching. At any moment there must be propulsion to be fast. So the tip of gliding up to 2 seconds is really a very bad tip.
I am not a teacher.. only a swimmer...I tried this.. and the body continues to go forward..the body floats.. and gets the push ...i loved specially this tip.. and I reduced the quantity of break strokes by 10 % ...
Hi Rainer, Thanks for your respond, and you are right, Sun Yangs Glide is faster, when I'm talking about the glide I'm talking about the time the palm touches the water until the end of the glide, if he swims 28-34 strokes in 50m in 29 Seconds it means the full stroke is +- 1 second and the glide is 1/2 a second. The main thing about masters swimmers or beginners is to change the structure of the muscle. I'm swimming breaststrokes in a wetsuit and I need my legs to float less. Do you have any tips for that?
