I delivered a 56MS from Puerto Vallarta to NZ in 2017. The boat sails surprisingly well downwind with most of the trip completed at 7 knot average under sail. The CP prop offers very good fuel consumption upwind motorsailing. She is a true motorsailor but very easy to handle with Nordhavn's solid construction.
@@deerfootnz Wow, did you Vlog that at all, the internet is starved of N56MS vlogs, there has really only been Sailing Cassidy who moved up from a N40 but the channel just suddenly stopped 5 or 6 years ago.
I'n still in dream mode but this is the Nordhavn I want, the second hand price ....when they come up....is very sweet......looking forward to hopefully seeing some vlogs on hull No 10....it's been a while since #9.
My dream boat! Love my pearson 424 ketch.. but wow! Not enough money to buy.
This is a fabulous go anywhere vessel! The range under power alone is 3,000 NM. Nordhavn really hit this one out of the park!
I really love these. I want to see a larger model but, I don't think that's going to happen any time soon.
