I got one card like this yesterday and it’s amazing how well it performs. It bottlenecks with some games with an i7 8700k @5.00 Ghz but its more than enough for me. Good video. Greetings from Perú.
@@chiefbuds8735 hahaha heyy, I bought the 3070 ti and it runs every game on 1080p or 1440p ultra 60 fps, sometimes I enable DLSS and put in "Quality" the fps goes maybe 10-20% up and quality is like im playing native so its 🤌🏻🤌🏻, the cpu can handle max a 4070, the 4080 maybe will get stutters, but im happy, i run fortnite at 120+ on ultra 1080p, rdr2 Online it runs 1440p very high/ultra between 75-115, rocket league 1080p ultra at 165 and GTA V ONLINE 1440p ultra between 75-110 I recommend a 650W silver or a 700W bronze minimum, the last one is what i use, btw the card runs HOT*, i tweaked some settings in msi after burner and it plays well!!
You've just put my mind at rest. Buying a preowned 3070 and now I'm sure it's a decent step up from my old RX 5700 XT. It should keep me going a little while longer. Thanks for the review, I've now subbed to see what else you are up to.
did the same because it had a driver issue with the hdmi that i couldnt fix yet, so i started searching and got a good mining rig card for just a littlebit more than the rog stryx is worth but i tell you i got close to 10300 on timespy with the 5700xt on OC with one button press and never exceeded the 65 degree line. Max was 68 degree in furmark.. i feel a little bad but i didnt know that it could do ray tracing, anyway for that price 300 bugs, even a 2080 would be a good deal, so ok i had to do it.
Yeah it's about 800 USD here in Australia or nearly 1.5 x US MSRP. That's a fairly standard multiplier though for PC tech especially when you add in the nVidia "tax" we seem to get hit with in Oz. Anyway at least they are somewhat in stock here right now so I just snapped one of the Gigabyte 3070s up, although it won't arrive in my hands until after Xmas. :(

You can quite easily push the memory frequency way higher on this card. I've settled on boosting by 1000 MHz and it's been super stable. The core clock I've only been able to push up by 100 MHz and have it be stable.
Ive heard alot of the 3060/3070/3080 make alot of noise? Not just coilwhine, in idle mode Even. Can you recommend me a graphics card that doesnt imitate a vacuum? I like my pc cool :D
Look for a card that drops to 0 RPM at idle. (Several brands do this now). Also undervolting your card can save you a lot of heat and noise for trading just a few % of performance.
Nice, Still unsure what card to get, either 3070, 3080 or RX 6800xt when they eventually gonna be in stock, the big problem I see at least with the nvidia cards is the vram, how do you think 8gb and 10gb gonna hold up in like 4-5 years?
It really all depends on what resolution you run, I think. They will hold up at 1440p better than 4K, but for most games just dropping AA or texture settings down a notch can drastically reduce the vram usage. If more stuff has DLSS going forward, that will help them maintain respectable performance over time too.
nah,a literally any card taht produce high fps gonna heat up to 80 degree if you dont have air cond + good airflow casing...im in malaysia, heating to 80-86 is pretty normal for a next gen game like cyberpunk
My 1st RTX. I love this card.

I'm from Mexico and this is the card I was able to get. It is crazy out there, almost impossible to get one. Great review, dude!
How much did you pay if I may ask
That thing is absolutely huge
This card was 840 usd in my country :D we don't even need scalpers.. our retailers had crazy prices already..

this 3070s fan stops when idling
Dear is that safe if i overclock like what you did in 3070. ?
this gpu are heavy? i need use gpu suport?
Will this fit in a h510 flow case with a 240mm AIO
It fits with no problem
How did you make msi afterburner work on this card? My keeps failing when I try to scan for overclock. Appreciate the help. Thanks
You need to get on the latest beta on afterburner and Mac out your power, voltage, and temperature sliders

nice review but geezz that card is bigger than my 2080ti
It’s pretty chunky! Does seem to run pretty cool though, so it’s not all just for show.
Coil whine is EVIL.
When you mentioned power limit I know you are someone who knows about graphics cards.
