- Hey guys! Today I'm going room to room to see if there's anything I can possibly let go of. It's a fun exercise that doesn't seem like much but at the end you'd be surprised how many random little things you collect that are simply sitting around taking up space!!

she's 13 though lol 😆. When she was 10 she wanted to buy a baby bottle to drink her milk with again. Maybe I'm a bit rigid but I was like, um.. no. lol 😂

I agree. I don’t see the big deal about it. The daughter lives there too, using a small spoon hurts no one. Keep one for now and find a nicer small spoon if the “aesthetic” is such a big deal to replace it.
I'm 30 and when I'm at my parents house, I like to eat with the smaller forks and they eat with the larger forks. 😅

For the Keurig you can buy a reusable pod that lets you use your own coffee grounds.
Keurig is the WORST tasting coffee anyone could drink
its also very hot water passing through a plastic that release toxic chemicals when heated
Very inspiring! I am doing a spring clean and declutter and it feels so good. The other nice thing about French press coffee is that you can use the used grounds for your house plants or garden plants and herbs. It really is better for the environment

I would guess that your daughter uses the brush after applying the hairs conditioner, it really helps to smooth the hair :)

I love my French press! I got into them because coffee machines are weirdly expensive overseas. Now regular coffee just doesn’t taste as good to me.
If your kruieg is squirting all over the place it needs de-scaled:)
cleaning a coffeemachine is more work than quickly washing a frenchpress :)
Nespresso is a life changer (I use Scuro and Chiaro pods and they’re delicious)

I like french press and occasionally make that but for my day to day I use a drip coffee maker. But what made a big difference for me was when my 12-cup drip maker quit working. I went with a Cuisinart 4-cup coffee maker with a stainless carafe. It looks nice and isn't a large footprint. Being just me I have no idea why I thought I needed a 12-cup coffee maker. Once I made the switch it makes total sense and if I need to make more it makes a fresh pot very quickly since it's so small. Agree on Keurig being super bad for the environment - even the person who designed it has stated he regrets the environmental impact and in hindsight would not have done it.
Put a small plant where the Coffee machine was.
I think a cute little lamp would look good in that corner where the Keurig was! It looks dark and maybe it would brighten it! I like the Nespresso coffee machine- the pods are recyclable.
I love using the chemex for my coffee. I have an electric kettle but I store it in the cabinet and pull it out daily. And I have a rod inside the cabinet that stores the paper towels so it’s not on the countertop. 😊

Probably a little late to this but maybe you should get a round tray for the corner rather than the rectangle one. I completely understand where you are coming from in regards to how things look lol. I have nothing on my surfaces. Iv purposely had a hot water tap so I don't have a kettle 😂

we have a coffee grinder and grind the beans as we need them, the flavour is incredible! 🤗
I do drip coffee in a small 5 cup coffee pot, with fresh beans that I grind fresh everyday, its so much better than pods!

I love my French press but I do have an espresso machine for when I’m in a hurry, or want to make a cold latte or something different. I mostly try to do French press every day

I have a French press and I love it, but I often find myself using the keurig machine when I’m in a pinch. If I decluttered it, I would have probably end up buying another 😬 lol but loved this video 💕 always motivating!
Today is my first day without my keurig lol. My cupboard feels naked. or, it looks that way lol. But the french press today was wonderful!!! I'm low key tempted to dig the keurig back out of the car (haven't dropped off donations yet) but I'm going to try to be strong haha. I think I'm just used to seeing it sit there like a little token of morning comfort. 😂

I love a flat white, it’s quite a strong Italian coffee with minimal milk. Less than latte milk. I’ve got a Nespresso and it’s terrible compared to barista coffee at a cafe here in Sydney Australia. Love a flat with with 1 sugar, delish. Look up the recipe. A cortado is my fave.
Yes to the French press! We've been French press only for 4 years and I'll never look back. I get beans from local coffee shops I love and have a great quality manual grinder.
Grind up the beans while the water comes to a boil, 4 mins in the FP, pour into mug and rinse FP. Done in 5 minutes.
hmmm 4 mins... Ok I def need to read up on the rules of how to make the best french press!!! I haven't been letting mine sit that long. is that for all types of beans/grounds?

I use a stove top Italian style espresso .
I use my keurig still but I use reusable filters and Tim Hortons coffee. But sometimes I switch to a one cup aero press I love it
yes I actually do have the reusable filter... I suppose if I missed the kuerig I could do that too. Today was my first morning not having the keurig on the counter and I'll admit it feels a bit bare. But my FP coffee today was delicious!!

I could never figure out the French press and it took too long. I would put away all countertop stuff aside from a few decor pieces but the wall plugs really bug me. I’ve purchased some bath and body plug ins but the scents are too strong. It does seem like there is always something to declutter.

If you push the kcup pod in first and then close the lid it is much cleaner.
Keurig needs to be distilled, vinegar run through it. That helps it not to spit out like that.
The Tanjun are so easy - just throw them into the washing machine. They come out like new 🙂

I have all the coffee gadgets, breville coffee maker and grinder (has Kraft and single serve with out k cups) and I have breville espresso maker and I have old fashioned espresso maker and Le Creuset French press all are amazing but the non plugged in ones are surprisingly amazing 😍

CoToGo coffee is my favorite. It's much stronger than a French press.
My keurig has been acting up too. I'm on my 4th one. Next time I'm in IKEA I'm going to pick up a French press. The coffee is so much better tasting
