I saw that you're using the UGreen USB switcher. When you click the button on the switcher to use the keyboard and mouse on the second device, do you also have to separately change the monitor input settings to the second device e.g. HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 input?
I just got the same switcher. PC and laptop connected to one monitor via HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 input. and i need to manually change the monitor inputs, which isn't convenient.
Hey. Yep same issue. Only solution is to get a two monitor kvm unit but that would cost a few extra hundred dollars at least.
hello thank you for this review! I have one question. I heard that amd's freesync technology does not work with nvidia graphic cards. I am using a nvidia graphics card and so i had to ask if you are using one too, and if things like screen stuttering/tearing occur without the support of gsync?
Hey There. When using nvidia card with this display, if you connect via display port cable, in the nvidia control it will have option for enabling GSYNC via GSYNC compatible displays. While it says it is not "validated" I find it works great.

Hey! Thanks for watching! Its just an extra large mouse pad I got from Amazon. Cant find exact one, but just look for large mouse mat and you will be provided with loads of options.

Hey. I've been using it for a few months now and to be fair haven't noticed either of those things. Even if they are there, they are definitely not dominant. A lot of times people look at tech under microscope in unrealistic ways and then use that information to make purchase.

For me personally I need larger screen for productivity.
I've heard many, many reports about this brand being a little sketchy. I can kinda see the sketchiness - the website seems almost overzealous, they're relatively unknown outside Singapore, and there are alarming numbers of people with reported issues and are upset at their weird warranty policy.
What do you think? Another thing: colour accuracy has been reported to be very, very off. Do you think so? Does it affect you as a content creator? I'm a Lightroom CC and DaVinci Resolve 17 editor, so im a bit concerned.
While I can't attest to the warranty issues, I can confirm the brand is Singapore-based so this is why it is not known outside particularly well. As far as using it for color sensitive work - it is not really made for that, rather it is more suitable for gaming and general productivity. Probably with some color calibration it is ok, but if you do professional work you should really try to avoid buying budget monitor, spend the money to get purpose built one.

Hi @A2K, how did you setup the resolution for the PBP to allow proper aspect ratio and no stretching if the content?
At 2:58 your screen resolution for PBP is looking optimal with no stretching... Wat is resolution we need to select before plugging in the two sources?
@@arunreddy198416 Hey, sorry for not being clear. At that time it is just standard 1 PC with two pages open. I found the same issue with PBP where either you stretch or have an odd aspect ratio. Its a limitation of a somewhat small display specifically for PBP.

Hey Asyraf, I can confirm you can play it full screen. In settings change to full resolution and aspect ration 21:9 and it fills the screen. Also 100HZ makes it pretty nice!

hey, it should be on by default. if not, then in the settings go to display, then select LED mode.

it is not really made for that, but if you are in a pinch then if you can constantly color calibrate it - you may be able to do it. The nature of curved screens is that they are not as accurate.
They have a non-pro version of this monitor. Does it have PIP/PBP capabilities?

if you use monitor arm it is less of an issue as you can then move it forwards or backwards.

I am currently using it as a secondary display. For my primary screen I upgraded to a larger one. This works well for what I need it, mostly productivity tasks now.

how are the speakers on the monitor?
they are ok for general use, but only while you wait and get proper speakers. there are very limited amount of monitors our there with good speakers - it's not something that manufacturers generally focus on. there is one exception and that's Benq 32inch monitor we reviewed last year.

Hi, unfortunately I have not tried the xiomi one. Pretty happy with Prism though. Also you have a local company with local warranty so should something go bad you have faster response.
The spec mentioned 1ms response time, may i know how u get 6ms?

How about the gaming in HDR?Is that monitor worth it?
Id say for a great HDR experience you need monitor that supports HDR1000 (1000 nits brightness). HDR is not a value feature, this monitor is focused on value.

@@pedestrian6862 sorry to say, but you won't find a great HDR monitor for that money. you need to double or triple that budget. If you want a really good gaming monitor, look into Samsung Odyssey QLED G7

I tested out my brother's Prism X340 Pro 100Hz. It looks really grainy and "off". For some reason.
was it set to full resolution? are you able to take a picture and send it through? Our email is in about page.
@@A2KMedia I found the reason. He was using an aggressive sharpening setting (50). It is also very dark ("contrasty"), but after reset, it seems fine (maybe a little washed out).
I only spent a short time on the monitor, we can probably further optimize the contrast, color, brightness etc.
But he is not as picky as me, so I left it as it is.
