I have a new CX-5. I have not been happy with the glass. I used this polish then a coat of Rain X. I am stunned at how smooth and beautiful the glass now looks and feels.
Spot on comment Chris! Absolutely agree on that. I personally not a big fan of Autoglym, but that's more likely due my personal preference of user experience by a product, that includes design, scent, etc. which aren't really matter from a performance perspective. And most Autoglym products do what they say on the label. 😉
Hi John, This is a very tough question. The answer is not black or white in my opinion, but I give you some of my favorite brands, although each brands have their own pros and cons, more importantly, they have “local” limits to purchase (not available in every country) So my top 4 list in no particular order: ADBL Stjärnagloss Labocosmetica Infinity Wax Hope it helps 🙌
@@JohnDoe-yy5cw Really is an impossible question to answer but for me personally it's bilt hamber. They have an excellent snow foam, apc, wax, and shampoo I think think the perfect basics for detailing your car
Yes, you could use this frequently if you wish to do so. However, I don’t feel the need of using this at every single time. The micro abrasives only there to remove embedded contaminants, that a “generic” glass cleaner cannot remove. But it won’t correct the surface like removing scratches, etc. it is simply not strong enough nor made to remove “layers” of the glass. In fact, correcting glass is one of the hardest job to do so. You need proper glass polish compound (Autoglym here is called “polish”, but this is more likely a compound against heavy deposits, rather than removing scratches, sort of a cleanser) and a good understanding about glass as a substance itself. To correct scratches on glass, you need to aware of heat (created by the friction during polishing), also patience, because it will take a long time to achieve a decent outcome. So don’t worry, the only thing you will achieve with Autoglym Car Glass Polish, is a nice and clean surface without any deposits remaining. Think of it as a deep clean for glass. ✌🏻
Hi 👋 As I state in the video. In theory, I would not suggest to use this product on tinted glass, hence the abrasive ingredients, that absolutely not ideal on tint. I did try on mine, because I wanted to see, and while I haven’t experienced any issues (marrings) on the tinted surface, there are safer products for tint. If you decide to use this on tinted surface, make sure to do a small spot check prior, and that’s the best what you can do 🙌
Hi Phil, I’m sorry to hear that it’s behavior of dusting messed up the mechanism. This is one of the biggest issue with this product, as it’s done a decent job by cleaning up the surface. Unfortunately there is no way of preventing dusting, the only thing comes in my mind is that apply very little product, but then, it will still dust on buffing.
Nope. It’s not intended for scratch removal, but the formulation has micro abrasive agents for a deep clean. BTW: This is the question though what the video answers 😉

Yes, it works wonders 👌🏻 The only downside for me that this is a little bit messy, BUT! Does an excellent job at deep cleaning the glass.
Great 50:50 vs just cleaner really demonstrates the benefits of this product if you have some extreme cleaning to do
You’re right Nick 🙌 The benefits are clear. And still, if you use this for nothing else but water spot remover for glass. For it’s price it is great.
Cool review Viktor :) Cheers.
Cheers Zsolt! Appreciate your feedback 🙌
For tinted glass its safe if its factory tint as the tint is built into the glass but if its aftermarket tint film dont use it
Yes, fair point 👍🏻
It does the job perfectly well, people probably overlook it because its autoglym. Brand snobbery is a major problem in the detailing community

Great choice Chris 🙌
It’s a proper product 👌🏻🤩👍🏻
It is indeed 🙌😉
Are you allowed to use this product frequently or it not good to do that? When using this product does this thin the glass thickness overtime?

Good stuff but the dust went down inside my door and messed up the window mechanism
