  • A change in scenery will find Piers O'Conor playing club rugby for Connacht next season, but for the last six years he's been an instrumental component to Bristol's USP: if something's on, back yourselves and attack from anywhere.
Owing to his adept handling skills and an innate ability to conjure a line-break from nothing, O'Conor has been operating under the radar for far too long.
Thank you to George Haslam for requesting this tribute.
    Enjoy!

What do you think of Piers O'Conor? Will his heads-up style compliment Connacht next season?

Great asset to Bears over the last few years - all the best for him at Connacht

Absolutely. Once a Bear, always a Bear. But now a new chapter awaits.

He formed a brilliant partnership with Semi.
Fearless tackler and a great distributor.
His only weakness was his kicking game.
He will be a major asset for Connaught

Agreed on all fronts. It was the one area of his game that proved difficult to research, even across six seasons as a Bear.
He more than makes up for that with everything else, though.
      Thanks for watching and commenting!
