I am a big fan of the PF Bison. I own 2 now. Great little fixed blade, especially for the price. I have one for carry and one in hunting day pack bag. Thanks for the review JB
I could definitely even see using that blade for skinning and processing game. I prefer taking more affordable knives like this out. Love the blade shape. Making scales for it would be fun too
This is a cool little fix I just wish the blade was a little longer I love all the carry options nice steel and the price is right thanks for sharing JB
This might be a nice one to add to my ever growing neck knife collection. I agree not a bad deal at near the $40.00 mark. Thanks for sharing something new from Petrified Fish with us JB.
I just won a Two Sun neck knife (the mini micro in M390) from JuhVon so I'm really curious how it'll be in-hand. It looks pretty dang tiny. Definitely a neck knife, but I don't consider myself a neck knife guy so maybe I'll get a slip for the pocket. It does have a sheath but I'm not much of a belt knife guy, either. Or maybe I will be? 🤔😁I dig the look of this one, I like the full tang with no scales style. Just gives me a Mad Max vibe for some reason, haha. Maybe it's the speed holes? Hehe. Thanks for the look at it, JB! 👍
Honestly never thought Petrified Fish made fix blades. Yes have you seen my video with my custom beluga ? Crazy looking 👀 my video was fun to make to show off my own modded knife. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND HAPPY HOLIDAYS 😊😊😊😊😊😊
It’s funny because BiG J was reviewing the Kiser Red pepper and was amazed with it being 14c28N for $52.99 and was saying that’s a great deal for the quality. 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Just ordered one based off this review alone! Great job @BigRedEDC!!! Probably gonna order some soft loops and try scout carrying this little thing. Been wanting to try out edc fixed blades and this seems like a good place to start.
Yay, a fixed blade. lol I prefer a knife like this to have no scales. If it's going to be hanging around my neck it should have less bulk and be as light as possible. The handle edges look sort of rounded or less 'sharp' than other skeletonized knives I have seen too. If so, this could make it more comfortable to use. I think it is a good price for all that comes with it but, if I am only going to use it as a neck knife, it would be nice to pay less for the knife and sheath while having the option to purchase the rest if desired. Thanks for sharing my friend.
I see this as a higher value option over the GMF1 - less than 1/3 the price, perfectly good steel. The GMF is either n690 ($145) or m390($185!), but 14c is just fine for a knife like this. I’ll have a nice leather pocket sheath for this available on Etsy soon, that’s the finishing touch! I’d be happy to send you one on the house.
I like it. I've been looking for a neck knife, that the sheath retention is strong. My 2 & 6 year olds are always jumping all over me and some neck knives come out pretty easy. I use a neck knife the most bc of the ease of access especially when your hands are full.
Ulti-clip 3.3 hole spacing is 1.5” and I believe the Bison has 1.5” spacing (or less) so it’ll fit. 1.5” is standard, but not every small sheath has standard spacing. Ulti clip has slots, not holes, so it’s aaalmost universal. Only thing it won’t fit is spacing that’s OVER 1.5”, under 1.5” is fine. (The 3+ model is 1.7”)

Right on James!
Nice looking knife & sheath. I would carry in my pocket or as a neck knife. Thanks for introducing me to it.
Right on Richard!
I could definitely even see using that blade for skinning and processing game. I prefer taking more affordable knives like this out. Love the blade shape. Making scales for it would be fun too
I think it would work pretty well!
At that price I'll probably end up making the purchase. Thank you for showing us!

Nice looking knife
Thanks Kevin!
It's a decent looking little neck knife. That being said it's not up my ally for a daily carry. I do appreciate the video JB.
Thank you Mat!
Good looking knife! Great video brother 👍
Pretty cool knife! Thanks Jeremy!
I'm sold.
I was hesitant before I watched your video now I gotta order mine fast before the word spreads about this little beauty.
Lol...right on!
Thanks JB for the GAW on SKL of this PF.
You are very welcome!!
It looks like a good value for what you get. You should wrap the handle with some red and black paracord JB. 👍🔪
Could definitely do that!
Very cool little fixed blade
Thanks for watching my friend!

You get a lot for your money! It is very comfortable in hand!!
you could use the holes to wrap paracord on the handle, maybe? nice blade
You sure could!
This would be a badass little box cutter but it's just to thick cutting geometry wise.
Right on! Thanks for taking a look!
I don’t mind a small fixie.
But skeletons don’t work well for me.
Good stuff as always, JB👊🏻
Right on Tim!
Good review JB , thanks for sharing YAH bless brother !

Appreciate it. I no longer have this knife. I gave it away

I’m new into fixed blades. How do you know if the kydex is compatible with an Ulti-clip? Thanks for helping!
Not 100% sure
