A wonderfully executed piece. I love eva foam for many of the reasons you showed here: goes together fast, easily shaped, kid friendly, it paints well, and is very light.
I was playing a Fortnite map today and thinking: “man, what if I could make a primal shotgun” so I scrolled through RUclips looking for tips to make Fortnite pros and came across this banger of a video!
Awesome. I learned some time ago that i dont feel accomplished if i havent made something on my own. And like I see you're doing, I'm trying to get my son into working with his hands. Nothing quite compares to taking scrap pieces of something and making something beautiful.
Wish I had all the tools and equipment to start making things. Also, I bet your son suggested that you make this? Haha, nice work with this gun since it's one of my favorites in Fortnite!
@@jaredniegas4255 my first prop was a lightsaber hilt made of hardware parts. There's a bunch of DIY tutorials on RUclips. That could be a nice place to start

Amen to that! I couldn't have said it better myself. Cheers!
For someone who said that he hasn't used much EVA foam before, you did pretty damn good I'd say! 🙄
Well, it was way harder than I thought it would. Cheers and thanks for watching as usual!
Always amazing to watch a masterful artist at work.👏👏
Thank you Masi! 😊

Much appreciated Jared! Dont worry about the tools...I started making props with a drill and a dremel. Tools only make the process faster and easier.
@@DaBuild Oh sweet, any recommendations for a beginner with a small budget? Maybe I'll start this year or so. :D
