A question - can you turn the lights on and off, and if not, for how long will they survive? Like, if I 'm going to a con I want to turn then off while on the floor but turn on when on stage.

some bondo would come in handy for areas that are corners. would fill in the jagged gaps and look slightly more round like the original.
