I just wish Duncan was around for a little longer. After I saw him give Hershel a shoulder ride, I knew he would be a likable character. He was a sweet giant and now he's gone. At least we still have our Jerry!!!
The only moment I really disliked in this episode was when Maggie said that it was all Negan's fault. I'm sorry, I know he killed Glen, and no one is ever forgiving or forgetting that. But Negan did not lead the Whisperers. He did not destroy Alexandria (this time). This shitshow is not his fault. Others may be his fault, but not this one. And with all due respect, Maggie has been gone a long time. I think it's a little out of line for her to suddenly be calling all the shots again when that is not her place anymore.
I completely agree with you there. He is trying to show he isn’t the asshole he was, he’s trying to be a changed man. But I have a theory that the reapers and all this stuff is gonna push the characters so far that he’s gonna have to get back into that persona and use his leadership knowledge to get them out of this battle with the reapers. Anyone else think this?

This episode was a literal roller-coaster! First, tense. Then sweet. Then tense again. Then sad. Then tense. And so on and so forth. I swear Season 11 just gets better and better every episode, and the first episode was great enough!

I have all the key words muted on my socials. Things like "twd", spoiler, daryl dixon, etc. Anything I think that could spoil things I mute... That and I just avoid social media for a few days after a new ep airs :)
I watch the episode early every sunday on a streaming website for that reason only (because I honestly can't afford to pay for a bunch of services, let alone AMC+, or else I would) but yes, if you don't want to get spoiled then just watch the episode early if you can on AMC+ or on a free site. Sucks, but TWD is the most spoiler ridden community of any show I've ever followed.

Remember he's Rosita's "boyfriend" and there was a time when she wasn't sure if he would accept her daughter if he knew she wasn't his? When your people are starving, and you're able to bring home 4 horses, turning one into food might be your best option. Now, I've never had horse meat (that I know of), but I've eaten beef (cow) lamb and mutton (sheep) chicken, quail, turkey, duck and goose (various birds, obviously), cod, salmon, bass, walleye, trout and tuna (fish obviously), octopus, crab, crayfish and shrimp, goat, rattlesnake and alligator, ham, bacon, pork loin, and pork chop (pig obviously) [some of these animals I even raised] if the choice is we all starve to death, or we eat a horse... I think the horse is going to have to lose the vote. If they manage the horse right, they can dry and smoke the meat so it can be stored long term without refrigeration, which would mean one horse could buy a lot of time for a lot of people, in hopes that another source of food makes it in [such as Maggie's quest for the supply drop]
I mean, think about it…why aren’t there animals running around as is?? Imagine how many have been mutilated by walkers and/or starved to death from limited resources!! I’ll take the 3-4 animal deaths we have been shown over seeing corpses riddled everywhere. Plus, it’s not like they can raid grocery stores anymore as everything is either gone or spoiled by now, and what did you think they did in the 1700-1800’s for food?? THAT’S how it advances the plot!
