Great reply. Hey Tom, just saw your visit at Curry‘s checking out the A90J. Did you have a chance to check the game mode? I think that on the CX/GX the ABL was still very noticeable in bright HDR games which was a little distracting and from what I understand the Sony A90J is supposed to have not only slightly higher peak luminance (750-800 nits calibrated) but a lot higher fulfilled brightness as well which would be even more important and which would make it a huge upgrade over previous OLEDs. Can you tell us anything about that and is there any chance we‘re gonna get you to test one of those? Hearing your gamer‘s perspective always helps a lot when thinking about buying a new TV. Cheers!
Finally, someone said it. Samsung takes great pictures but when it comes to pets it's horribly even though it can take pictures of human faces just fine. I did a side-by-side comparison between the iPhone 11 pro and Samsung ultra 21, even with my cat moving the iPhone took sharp pictures every time even if night mode kicked in. Samsung looked like a blurry mess unless the animal stands still for more than a second.
If you preferred the lighter Oppo selfie pics, you could also have chosen the bright instead of natural option on the S21 Ultra and for the cat photos could have chosen motion photo on the Samsung to compare against the Oppo too. Samsung camera is triumphant.

Good camera test, but i feel like you should've included the micro camera on the oppo, otherwise it's not a complete camera comparison between those two
I hope that Oneplus 9 Pro wont have that cameras on the Find X3 Pro, because those are a lot worst than the Samsung's ones, and obviously, worst than the iPhone's Pro ones.
I am also hoping the same 😣Oneplus is really making us see that it is raising the bar in the camera segment. I hope they do not fail us this time because we want one more brand other than Samsung and Apple to do good in camera segment so that we can have more choice.
The biggest problem with all recent Samsung galaxies is not the picture quality but the image distortion eg: when you take either a selfie or a picture of a person with the rear camera they look distorted with a smaller head bigger nose ...etc they need to fix this but only few people are noticing that, and that is the problem
The skin tones on the oppo may be close to blowing out the highlights but the SG11U "management" of the dynamic range makes the skin and face look as if it is a picture from the wax museum. Faster shutter on oppo is interesting as we are used to taking still (and rigid) shots while leaving the action shots to the heavy Nikon and Cannon. Is it changing?
If u want an android phone with the best cameras without a doubt you should pick s21ultra!! Moreover, In my opinion if you want best overall phone also I think you should go for s21ultra. They improved every area in which customers faced issues..I am just waiting for oneplus 9 pro. I THINK THAT WILL COMPETE WELL with s21u after their partnership with hasselblad
Some people believe having a Snapdragon will automatically make your images better, as if the manufacturers algorithms are useless. Here we have two phones with the same ISP, and one is clearly superior.
@@Thetechchap may be, but it comes down to the subjective definition of "better". For example "Golden Reviewer" did a low light test a few days ago, where both had exactly the same level of noise and details, for uw and w lenses..but with Snapdragon being more vibrant and the Exynos less vibrant (but still vibrant). The 3x and 10x were easier to get sharper results with the Exynos. So the ISP, doesn't play a make or break role in the imaging department. Not imo.

Hope you turned on the 10bit setting on the oppo. Also, you didn't use the microscope camera.
Oppo can take 10 bit photo meanwhile samsung can shoot 12 bit photo
@Joël Staub hah... I'm from Indonesia and the indonesia reviewer inform that S21 ultra can shot 12 bit raw on pro mode
For me, in the foto mode, the Oppo Find X3 Pro lets some flairs to happen. I prefer the Samsung this time.
Samsung shoots 12 Bit Raw so that's sorted, I am sure there would be a subject tracking mechanism inside the menus
If u want an android phone with the best cameras without a doubt you should pick s21ultra!! Moreover, In my opinion if you want best overall phone also I think you should go for s21ultra. I am really impressed by what samsung is doing! In spite of being a giant brand they listen to consumers. You can see that when u compare s20u and s21u. They improved every area in which customers faced issues..I am just waiting for oneplus 9 pro. I THINK THAT WILL COMPETE WELL with s21u after their partnership with hasselblad
Nice work 👍
Some people believe having a Snapdragon will automatically make your images better, as if the manufacturers algorithms are useless.
Here we have two phones with the same ISP, and one is clearly superior.
In the s21 exynos Vs Snapdragon debate, generally the Snapdragon performs slightly better for photography
Not imo.
@@Thetechchap But you're comparing Same company's phone and image algorithm.
Is it possible to use the 2x Tele lens in portrait Mode on the oppo?
Greetings from Taunton. Hi neighbor. Lol.
So thanks for this video. I am a little disappointed with the find X3 white balance. I do use the pro modes most of time and that could be adjusted, but for a point and shoot it does look off.
I would like to see a comparison with the OnePlus 9 pro before I make a decision but the S21 is a no go already thanks to the Samsung logo.
Thank you for this, it will help with my future decision😎🤗🙌
OPPO FIND X3 PRO CAMERA IS BETTER THAN S21 ULTRA AND ALSO OPPO IS CAMERA AND SELFIE EXPERT
Are we passed the review embargo? I don't see any other comparison reviews?
S21 Snapdragon version?
I prefer the video and image quality from oppo
Wish the Exynos version was included but nice comparison
Good job. Waiting Oneplus 9 pro camera review.
Wait for camera software update is just day 1 release
I prefer oppo mch more cheaper w/ good quality cam 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
4:15 where is this location? :0
Hahaha find x3's front video is similar to iphone but people seems to not like it but if it's iphone people love it. What is the bias here😂😂😭
idl but x3 pro seems better lol
How is the find x3 pro compare to the pixel in fast moving subjects like pets and kids? Thanks
I would so much love to know the answer to this question, did you happen to find out please? somehow somewhere?
@@lubospokorny1723 I never found an answer. I don't think it is better than a pixel in the android world. Nothing is I think except maybe iPhone which I am not interested in. My S21 ultra is terrible due to shutter lag especially indoors with dim lights. If I were you I would just go with pixel 6 pro if it is available where you live. For me it's pixel and galaxy S21/S22 ultra for its zoom capabilities depending on your needs. I am still thinking about pixel 6 pro and maybe will get it when pixel 7 pro comes out and I can get a good price for the 6 pro.
@@gstaios Thanks so much for your answer. I recently took s21 plus and it does terrible job with taking pictures of pets/kids indoors even with moving photo feature turned on so I will be returning it tomorrow. My priority is taking unblured photos indoors of my kids with not ideal light conditions so I am still stuck between Pixel 6 pro and Find x3 pro or possibly any other android phone that would do the job well.. but so few people are talking about this so its hard to find out.
By the way as you mentioned, iphone does great job with that (my wife has 12 mini) but it is not a choice for me neither, I want android .
@@lubospokorny1723 I know also I have 3 kids, it is a subject that is difficult to find and none of the big youtubers talks about it. My wife has oneplus 7 pro (my previous phone) and I installed gcam which gives very good results much better than my S21 ultra or stock oneplus 7 pro camera. I think pixel is your best bet. Happy to have helped
GREAT JOB MAN KEEP IT. I AM FROM SRI LANKA
But would the oppo be better Vs the exynos Samsung ?
I just wish more people would use the Exynos version when doing camera comparisons, but I understand that the US is the main market, at least when it comes to RUclips views...
Thanks for mentioning the shutter speed issue with the galaxy S21 Ultra, I own one(Snapdragon) and it annoys me when I have to click some pictures of my nephew.
Use the Single Take mode
@@edwinelmejor08 i do that but i would appreciate being able to take just one picture and get the same frame when i pressed the shutter button..
didn't know the oppo's wide angle doubles as macro, doesn't it have a dedicated (yet crappy) 2mpx macro lens?
either way, that's good news, thanks for the great review!
Dear Samsung: give me a faster shutter speed in exchange for a photo that is a bit less overexposed!!!!!
I think I love the cat now more than the same cell phone
OVERALL: S21
oppo is also good but cant still beat the s21
