You need to go to each zone and get a certain amount of candy from each zone based on what baby you picked. Reptar bars are just the cookies from the other boards

Funny story, My dad was one time recording a video of my sister's fish in their tank, of which we were playing that board in the background at the time, and the fish fanned it's gills out at the exact moment Reptar roared out. 😂

I remember wanting to ride the reptar wagon in the game but sadly this had nothing to do with the movie at all 97’ 98’ and 99’ were definitely some awesome years to be a kid
when NPC grandpa, angelica, and the dog move it was so scary to me as a kid. The music is so lifeless, characters fall through the board and reappear, and the camera angle is always facing their face... just weird if you ask me.
The baby crib and running out of energy could be used as part of your strategy. Running into Angelica was the biggest challenge in the game and if I was located in the same room as Angelica, I could search for all the treasure items and escape to the baby crib. Then I could use the baby crib as a easier way to go to another part of the board to look for more treasures.
I remember owning this as a kid and never being able to get it to work. Now I know I wasn't missing much. This looks pretty boring. I'm impressed by the amount of voice acting, though. Kinda cool for an N64 game where they'd usually just use text boxes to save on space.

This is a fun Rugrats N64 game, but it's just not as fun as Search For Reptar. And believe it or not, Search For Reptar was actually going to be released on Nintendo 64, but it was cancelled and Rugrats In Paris got released on N64 instead.

Besides, these games were never meant to be played on anything else other than an N64, so it feels awkward to play these games on a keyboard or USB controller, because it's not the intended control scheme. Playing on real hardware is still the best way to go about this.
