Never seen a USB on the left side of the keyboard like that

Yeah, it is a little weird, isn't it?
The wire that came with it though sort of hugs the side so it's not as intrusive as the wire I used, if that makes sense

WOW! When I saw your video i thought you had at least 30k-50k subs, U deserve way more subs man. Also, could you do a review on the Womier /Gammakay k87 if possible?

You flatter me! I don’t post enough so there’s no way I can get that many subscribers ahaha. Thank you nevertheless!
As far as reviewing keyboards, I mostly did these videos because I actually wanted one for myself and wanted to do something for friends/family. I don’t really see myself getting a Womier/Gammakay k87 anytime soon so I probably won’t be doing a review on them unless I somehow magically find someone who has it. Sorry!

@@igfxBalance glad you're enjoying making videos! Many keyboard youtubers experience burnout so im glad you're doing this as a hobby.

I also have a redragon fizz keyboard just like your sister, I replaced some of the switches with akko jelly pings, got new pbt doubleshot keycaps and some custom keycaps, after which I added the foam and tape mod, I'm not sure how to do the bandaid mod on the stabilizers and I haven't really gotten the chance to get better stabilizers to make it sound better, I was going for thock, but now it's more creamy in a way? I'm not sure what I did wrong but it sounds weird but oddly satisfying to my ears.

I'm currently trying to make it sound better, so I'm just thinking of scrapping the fizz entirely and finding an aluminum plate one..

LOL SORRY FOR THE RANT, I NEED ADVICE

@@Keyzait No worries about the rant ahaha
It's always hard to sort of understand what people are describing when they use words like "thock" or "creamy", so I'm going to assume that what you were trying to go for is a deeper sound but you got something that's a little inbetween and gave a bit more of a mid-tier sound with a higher pitch than intended
A lot of the deeper sound, I've found, comes from how you form the case. I think the best thing you can do right now is to try to see how it sounds WITHOUT the foam. If you compare the sound difference in this video of the keyboard with and without the foam, you'll notice the one without the foam (middle part) actually sounds deeper
I think there's a small limitation (quite literally in this case) with what you can do as far as sound goes since the PCB is pretty thin too, not allowing for much other modding.
I think the next best thing you could try is to get some keycaps of a different profile. Cherry profiles are nice, but if you get something like an SA keycap, that will help create more of a deeper sound
Hopefully that all helps! This is what I've learned from the little that I've done in my own personal research

@@igfxBalance Actually, I have a recording of the sounds of the keyboard before and after, and I got like 15+ people to rate the sound, oddly enough, the akko pinks were smoother and creamier, while the normal reds that came with the case have a more deeper sound... the one with mods sounded weird and unlike the red and pink, some people didn't notice the difference but to the people who did, they thought that the lubed reds sounded deeper and better to the ears.. the feel of the keyboard is definitely way better modded but even without the mods it sounded perfectly fine. I'll definitely check out the difference in feel and sound on a later date when I am not going to piss my pants removing the tape and the foam from my keyboard LOL
if you want to hear the sounds, I can definitely show you them on any platform you deem is comfortable to use for yourself!!

I didn’t realize you had other switches too! It sounds like that’s a lot of experimenting to do and I don’t know if I would even have the patience for that ahaha. I’m not the best when it comes to hearing the very small differences in audio so I just do whatever. At the very least, the keyboard is small so you don’t have to switch out as many of the key caps/switches to get a god idea!
I would definitely be interested to hear more of your journey as you continue to try new setups with the keyboard!

The Holee Mod is a modification that is typically used for stabilizers by using a fabric bandaid on the stems of the stabilizers. The idea is that by making the space a little tighter for the stabilizers, it will prevent it from making as much of a rattling sound. You can find more info from this guy here!
