    Another good history lesson, my grandfather worked down the iron stone mines where I live, the buildings were still there when I was a kid but they are all knocked down now. Hard life with little reward and serious risk of injury. 👍

    In Belgium we mostly only had coalmines. So this was interesting! Thanks for sharing!

    The black veins on the video look more like black chert to me rather than galena. Galena is silver grey with a bright metallic silvery fracture surface when freshly broken with a hammer.

      i would certainly be interested in staying a few days kind sir, i will contact you shortly, ive got two other videos in production at the moment with some big names in the industry, also lots of local historians that have over looked the things that are coming out in the videos.
