These are great. I love the long form but these are wonderful. The pacing and layout is beautifully done.

I like your satirical tone which one must adopt to cope with viewing much of human history

Commenting to please the algorithm! Recently was recommended your caisson lock video, which seems to be doing reasonable numbers, and I will say all of your content I've watched so far has been well researched and enjoyable, and your voice and narrative style make for easy listening! Keep doing what you're doing, it's great

Yes, the Algorithm decided to bless the caisson lock video suddenly, it's got more viewers in the last week as the previous year put together, and there's no particular reason why that I can see, just youtube decided to blast it to loads of people. Nice to see a percentage of those checking out some other vids too! Cheers for the comments

I have lived in the area below these mines for the past 20 years and spent a fair amount on time wandering around there. Now I know a lot more about the history. Thank you.

I've known this area from childhood and still live close by. But your video/s clarify those bumps in the ground really well. Thanks!

I believe that in parts of the UK hushing was outlawed because of the damage it did. Around Swaledale there are still enormous scars left by hushing.

Did they mine cadmium, I seem to remember the areas fruit and veg being loaded with it. Incidently my friends used to swim in the pool at Priddy.
