This is the first time I have heard or seen any video on Goblin Valley State Park, it is a must-see, IMO. I got a good LOL at John's rock horse ride. Thanks for sharing.
Your music was perfect! Slot canyons give me the willies and with your music on top of that 😂 The pronghorn were amazing! So sure-footed - what a treat to see.
Like your channel. My wife suggested the name of your channel should be From She to Me and sometimes He. Keep up the good work. As a side note, i like destination videos over interviews and upgrade videos. Thank you
Wow! What a great video! Loved the drone, slot canyon and Pronghorn footage. It was really cool how your voices amplified and were so clear in the canyon! On our 'want to go' list. Thanks for sharing!!
O'wow! Just finished the Utah series. It was stunningly beautiful, educational & as always, inspirational. Thank you John & Debbie beautiful episodes. Safe travels, Yvonne 🥰 P.S. I know this was a couple of years ago, but it's still beautiful to watch. Slowly and steady I'll eventually finish them all. Continued blessings 💕
DEBBY & JOHN Very NICE scenery, no haze or smoke, you could see forever, those PRONGHORN were going about 35-40 mph Non stop ,one of those rock formations looked like a turtle , on top of others, , happy safe travels & thanks for the trip, cheers 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Wow! Seeing those antelope running beside of you was great! How thrilling! Goblin valley was a little creepy and you picked the perfect music for it. It's incredible how those things formed the way they did. Such a great campsite with incredible views! That was such an amazing hike through the slot canyon! Y'all are brave! What a blessing to get to see all that beauty! Safe travels!❤️🙏Jane in SC
Ok Debbie, now you’re competing with N.G. What incredible cross country runners! In Angola we had gazelles gifting us with these displays of agility and grace. Thanks for the experience. Oh and your flying is gaining in altitude. Keep it up 🚁😉
Oh my gosh. You guys are amazing with your videos. Loved the Pronghorn sheep. BTW we have a class A and have that same awning. I know what you mean about it being too tall to give any shade. It does not tilt down at all. What were they thinking?❤️❤️
Great video. We are headed that way and considering checking it out. I noticed one of the shots that the bikes were shifting quite a bit. Have you considered using a ratchet strap form the bikes to the upper hinges of the door to take some stress off the hitch? Maybe there is a good reason not to but it looks like it might help. Thanks for your work. Always enjoy watching.
Love (re)visiting these places with you two! Hey, we're wanting to know when you're boondocking, how long can you run your new refrigerator without having to use your generator, Jennifer & John
The Pronghorn footage is fantastic. And John's driving was masterful! You really make some great videos. So much richer in content than most others I've come across. Hope you continue to share for a while longer.
We have passed there several times on our way to Lake Powell and we say the same thing. I plan on finally getting out to Goblin before spring! I can't wait.
Enjoy watching your you tube! Inspired to make thermal covering, but can you please go in detail of how to sew the slit for the knob for vent fan? As you mentioned, the staff at Sailrite were very helpful, and we will be ordering the SNAD to attach the thermal covering over the fan. I thought about zig zagging around the opening, but if you have a better idea-I would be grateful! Please continue to be safe-both of you, and thank you for motivating us new RVers to keep learning!
Mine was pieced together because I had run out of fabric so I did it like a quilt and stitched together 4 strips. So you are correct, sew the two pieces together using a zig zag stitch and leave an opening for the knob. Or you could do a traditional button hole. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. energymaven@gmail.com
Thanks for taking me back to Gobblin State Park. I had great memories of being there a few years back. How did you find the "popular" hike you took? It was so cool.
Good job with the drone videos, earned your wings now! Tell that to Doug. 😉 Hope one of you is carrying a first aid kit with some quick clot and a tourniquet if you need them. John’s hip looks to be okay with all his climbing. Alway love watching pronghorn run and they are fast!
Yes and not familiar with your system, but there should be a way to do it. Also, if the GPS is set, it should automatically return to home if it gets beyond its signal and it loses the signal, my DJI Phantom II comes back home even if it regains the signal.
Practice practice practice. Keep flying it and it will become as natural to you as your videoing and editing. Don’t be afraid of it and try everything in the open space and if your GPS is locked on before you launch and you have a return to home if low battery or signal loss, then it should come right to where you launched it.
Wonderful video and you made our day eating breakfast! We are waiting for the Moonshade to arrive. Can you open your slider all the way when you have it up? We have the longer sprinter. After measuring it, the door needs to be half way open to accommodate the tent.
You're right. If you want to be able to close the door, then it can only be partly open. But John is able to reach the magnet and move it while I operate the door. So we've used it in both positions. Vans without an awning usually put the magnets on top of their rigs.
Loved this video. The slot canyon looked beautiful and watching the pronghorn run was amazing. Thanks. Now you've got me wanting a moon shade. I'm planning on going to Alaska next year (covid willing) and I was wondering if the moon shade is something I would use. I'm thinking with the mosquitos it would be better to have a screened tent. What are your thoughts. Thanks.
Gorgeous views! Did you put a lift kit on your van? Do you know what the clearance is? We've ordered a van and I'm a little concerned about clearance on some of the dirt roads.
It is the "Ride Improvement Package" from Agile Offroad. It adds 3 1/2" in the rear and 2 1/2" in the front. Besides the new fridge, it's the best upgrade we've done.
@@FromShetoMe And no problems with driving in windy conditions? You don't feel like your center of gravity is too high? I think we really need this, but, I don't want to add something that makes the driving more risky. Thanks for your help.

Your windshield shade is looking good as well. We need to figure out how to get one of those for our larger Sprinter. :)
For sure stay off Utah's dirt roads if rain threatens. One of my favorite RUclips channels is Matt's Offroad Recovery which is all about getting people out of sticky (and sandy) situations. When you say "larger sprinter" what do you mean?
@@FromShetoMe Very cool, will have to find that channel. We were in Moab on the way to Canyonlands during a spectacular rainstorm, and saw incredible red waterfalls coming off the cliff tops right into draws like the one where you camped, which is what made me think of that. When I say "larger sprinter," I'm thinking of our 170" wheelbase extended sprinter with the high roof. It's over 24' long. I suspect that our windshield and perhaps even side windows may be somehow "stretched" given it's a longer and possibly higher van than your 19-footer. Your friends' big white Sprinter may be what I'm thinking of, though, so if it fits theirs, it may fit ours and others like it.
