That being said, ZZZ is gonna be the new shiny thing for the next month or 2 just like Wuwa but Wuwa pulled a fast one on Mihoyo by releasing the game early before ZZZ. Even while having tons of bugs, it was the best decision cuz now after a month, atleast Wuwa can stand on it's feet VS releasing around the same time with a Mihoyo game and risk being overshadowed I still think ZZZ will do good but not to the extent of Wuwa once it fixes all it's bugs and comes to the consoles. They're literally giving out 100 free pulls. It's very clear which game's desperately in need for more attention
I won't be playing ZZZ. It's not because I hate hoyoverse or anything but I'm already playing PGR, HI3, Aether Gazer and Sololev simultaneously. I've had enough of dungeon crawl games. Wuwa is the second open world gacha game I've played besides Genshin and the experience it offers is different so I can still enjoy it.
Interesting perspective to read as I totally feel it from the other end. I've played open world games for so long that it's just not a special trait to me, gacha or not. WuWa is a ton of fun but honestly the story just doesn't catch me and I've noticed that since the story doesn't catch me, exploring and the whole open world aspect don't either. I like to log on and fight, that's about it. So in that regard, ZZZ is actually quite appealing since it's just fun combat in quick instances for the most part. It'll be fun to play both and see which one gets a bit more of my time. That said I've been a fan of Kuro for years and I hope people keep trying their games and pushing them further.
As a veteran PGR and an actual WuWa player. The game combat mechanic is so EASY. I will not talk sht about the skills animation (it'scolor full but that bright, a little bit like Zelda BW color). They literally have a button for Parry 😂, ....and I found it so funny...ah...😊 I have some fun (I like this kind of game). WUWA fans, please don't make comparisons despite having some similarities in combat mechanics since WaWu is Open World and ZZZ is ARPG. Instead, compare it to PGR. They are in the same genre. 😊❤ Appreciate and respect each other. 🙏
Actually, Wuthering Waves is better at this point, i already tested ZZZ mins ago, if you want open world, ZZZ is not for you, the fighting is better in Wuthering Waves, but lacks interaction with NPCs like ZZZ and Genshin do better.

Another thing is people kinda forget that gacha games actually share players to some degrees, since dailies are so easy in most of these games taking like 5 mins to a max of 15 mins in some cases like genshin and wuwa where there is no insta clear stages, so these games aren't really losing players but sharing'em which is what hoyoverse wants more than have seperate audiences. For example if you're a degen who only cares about hot characters then you are most likely playing Azur Lane, Snowbreak, Nikke, Brown Dust 2 and maybe even Blue archive already. If all you care about is open world with story then you're probably playing both genshin and wuwa and to a degree maybe HSR as well. If you want instance based action games then you're probably playing PGR, Aether Gazer and HI3. It's actually uncommon for a gacha player to only play one gacha since one gacha can't really be treated as a main game cause of lack of content.

I’m not, I barely have time from the 3 games I’m into at the moment, those being Fate/Grand Order, Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail. And adding another one is just too much. That’s half the reason I dropped Wuthering Waves.
Can't wait for August to come, since by that time WuWa would have already went up against Genshin for 2mos. and ZZZ for 1 month and its first month. Only time would tell if all of these "WuWa's gonna die going against Genshin" or "ZZZ would kill WuWa" etc. would age like fine wine or age like milk but the next two months would be massive as WuWa would basically go 1v2 with Hoyo games, HSR not included as these games serves very different categories/genre
Yeah, Hoyoverse not caring about competition and doing their own stuff. I don't think so. They know they've lost a big part of their Genshin playerbase recently due to their ignorance towards the playerbase, which is why they tried to come up with some damage-control (suddenly increased Stamina-cap along other stuff people were asking for). Nah, they are keeping track of which departments fucked up and chances are that Genshin's playerbase will decline over time (if they don't improve in that regard) which means they'll also lose their grip on the "Open World"-gacha market. Of course it won't cause any damage to Hoyoverse financially, at best it'll put a small dent into an otherwise stable and lucrative source of income, but they have enough other sources for it to not matter.

Not worth it bro, it's a snooze fest a few hours into the game with the tv aspects, traversing feels sloppy and the combat is nothing exceptional and feels monotonous later on, plus rerolling takes hours since you need to progress through missions to get a few standard banner pulls and limited banner pulls are limited asf

I see the same cracks forming in Zzz as Genshin. First, this game isn't from their favourite Honkai series. Which means, we might be up for the same mistreatment that Genshin got all this time. Second, they censored Nicole in beta, while her official artwork remains the same, which means we might get another Rosaria incident in the future. Third, they were more focused on keeping players occupied by replacing traversal with TV puzzles, instead of focusing on player experience. But when they got backlash that would have hurt their bottom line, instead of going back to the drawing board, they only removed 70% of those puzzles and forced players to compromise with the end product. Which means future events might also be full of that crap. Fourth, I don't think this game will be as big as HSR. I think it will be niche like HI3, considering how badly they managed powecreep in HI3. I can already the same bad management in HSR with Acheron and Sam, I am gonna nope outta it. Don't wanna compete with whales as an F2P in a combat game of all things.

It won't if it has more pre-registers than WuWa, Genshin and HSR. WuWa had 30mil, HSR has 20+mil and Genshin had 10+mil (i think anyways), while ZZZ has 40+mil.

Big deal will be can WuWa fix the myriad of performance issues. I do not play on phone, 1.0 was rough on PC but 1.1 it is better. A lot of problems still. Mostly bugs and stuff, but I will tell you something. ZZZ will be Ibelive absolutely polished performance-wise and from what I hear,(awesome Genshin Lore CC, Ashikai) quoting "the best story experience Hoyo offered" and man I trust her. In the end, it will be a fight for phone memory storage. WuWa will lose if they do not fix the mobile gaming experience since all Gachas feed on the same mobile phone market trough. Hoyo also must be very comfortable launching a gacha game without real Waifus and Husbanos. A first limited character has a shark tail, and the best husbando is either furry or a robot. That is ballsy. Also peculiar thing is happening, most of big Hoyo and Gacha CCs made guides for WuWa but on Jinshi debut, very hyped new character, and 1.1 almost there's radio silence. Wuwa had a terrible launch, lots of problems, mid voice acting, mid story, plus it's an unreal engine game not the same as all the hoyoverse games the unity engine which mid phones can all play and unreal engine isn't really that good in mobile devices as it will cause stuttering in older model phones or low end PC's. The only thing Wuwa did to make players think it's a "Genshin killer" or "Better than genshin" is the rewards and the mechanics.

They know they've lost a big part of their Genshin playerbase recently due to their ignorance towards the playerbase, which is why they tried to come up with some damage-control (suddenly increased Stamina-cap along other stuff people were asking for).
Nah, they are keeping track of which departments fucked up and chances are that Genshin's playerbase will decline over time (if they don't improve in that regard) which means they'll also lose their grip on the "Open World"-gacha market.
Of course it won't cause any damage to Hoyoverse financially, at best it'll put a small dent into an otherwise stable and lucrative source of income, but they have enough other sources for it to not matter.

I wasn't thinking in playing zzz cause i thought i alredy have my hands full with wuwa and i don't really vibe with the style of the game, but if it is tru that the game doesn't take much time then i might give it a try
Not worth it bro, it's a snooze fest a few hours into the game with the tv aspects, traversing feels sloppy and the combat is nothing exceptional and feels monotonous later on, plus rerolling takes hours since you need to progress through missions to get a few standard banner pulls and limited banner pulls are limited asf

I see the same cracks forming in Zzz as Genshin.
First, this game isn't from their favourite Honkai series. Which means, we might be up for the same mistreatment that Genshin got all this time.
Second, they censored Nicole in beta, while her official artwork remains the same, which means we might get another Rosaria incident in the future.
Third, they were more focused on keeping players occupied by replacing traversal with TV puzzles, instead of focusing on player experience. But when they got backlash that would have hurt their bottom line, instead of going back to the drawing board, they only removed 70% of those puzzles and forced players to compromise with the end product. Which means future events might also be full of that crap.
Fourth, I don't think this game will be as big as HSR. I think it will be niche like HI3, considering how badly they managed powecreep in HI3. I can already the same bad management in HSR with Acheron and Sam, I am gonna nope outta it. Don't wanna compete with whales as an F2P in a combat game of all things.

Big deal will be can WuWa fix the myriad of performance issues. I do not play on phone, 1.0 was rough on PC but 1.1 it is better. A lot of problems still. Mostly bugs and stuff, but I will tell you something. ZZZ will be Ibelive absolutely polished performance-wise and from what I hear,(awesome Genshin Lore CC, Ashikai) quoting "the best story experience Hoyo offered" and man I trust her.
In the end, it will be a fight for phone memory storage.
WuWa will lose if they do not fix the mobile gaming experience since all Gachas feed on the same mobile phone market trough.
Hoyo also must be very comfortable launching a gacha game without real Waifus and Husbanos.

Wuwa at this point is not running great on my phone after the update specially in mt ferminent region. I might switch to zzz if wuwa isn't running great on my phone.
Wuwa had a terrible launch, lots of problems, mid voice acting, mid story, plus it's an unreal engine game not the same as all the hoyoverse games the unity engine which mid phones can all play and unreal engine isn't really that good in mobile devices as it will cause stuttering in older model phones or low end PC's. The only thing Wuwa did to make players think it's a "Genshin killer" or "Better than genshin" is the rewards and the mechanics.
