Okay, I think this is the first time I've properly "got" IRyS as a singer. Her other work sounds good, but I never felt like it was something that other hololive members couldn't do, but this... this has production values up and out the wazoo. Her voice sounds so good on this.
I think it's because it's in Japanese, no offense to IRyS she's a native English speaker but it's clear she's spent more time speaking JP and there's a bit of... i don't know... "uncanny valley" with her English singing and lyrics, probably because they were written by Japanese lyricists, her Japanese songs are great.
I think it's more the style of music really suites her voice, IRyS voice is very clear and clean having an almost bell/chime like quality to it, that really pairs with more balled like style of music
This is such a heartwarming and comforting song! It also demonstrates IRyS’ eagerness to try new things! The MV will absolutely pair with the banger song!
Y'know, I keep hearing people say that Irys should be more popular, and talking about her like an underdog, but... I just don't get it. Isn't having almost a million subscribers, and hundreds of thousands of views on her vids, more of a milestone than any vtuber ever sees? She seems pretty damn popular to me already.
I only have time to watch some clips with IRyS in it(forgive me, she is not my Oshi) but her taste in music is almost exactly my favorite style. It fits in surprisingly well with my Linkin Park and Sawano playlists. I love all of her original songs, she's a great singer!

I really like this song, I notice so many hololive singers are so goood. They deserve more attention for sure, they have really unique style. I think for example kpop gets lot of attention because the singers are good looking, but I'm personally not a huge fan of kpop songs. Instead of investing lot on appearance, they can dedicate on the quality of the song.

This MV and the song are really good to watch and listen to when you are depressed or losing motivation, they make you feel like "I can keep moving" and make your head want to lift up. And this MV is so match of the song! It makes the song to the best! Nothing can be perfect without each other! I don't know how to describe and praise a song or a MV that I love, but it's really good! The CG anime is so amazing and the illustrators are so beautiful! The melody of the song is easy to listen over and over again, the verse is gentle and pure, like affirming oneself, while the chorus is high and powerful, like making up one's mind and acting. I really love them!

I can’t get enough of IRyS’ vibrato… I’m sure there’s some level of auto-tune going on, but it’s nearly impossible to accurately produce vibrato with it, so you know it’s all her. Beautiful song, beautiful voice, probably her best one yet imo 💁♂️

Wow, I really like this. Quite often I find idol songs to be a bit too busy with the instrumentals to the point the music doesn't really stand out, but I really love those swelling synth chords and the electronica-styled percussion. Of course the vocals cannot be praised enough, this is IRyS after all, so it goes without saying that they are excellent. I feel like this song has a lot more emotional weight thanks to being more mid-tempo and stripped back and I had time to appreciate every part of it. Really impressed, going straight on the playlist.
This actually surpassed Diorama for my favorite IRyS song, I love the direction you're going in with this. Incredibly inspirational lyrics too MV had a really cool start, there's even captions this time

This MV was totally beautiful and eye catching! The animation definitely reminds me of Mumei's "A New Start" MV. Not only that, this MV seems to be a sequel to the "Caesura of Despair" animation, tye fact that the city in this looks very identical to the one in said animation. This definitely ties in to IRyS' lore
That's just because the city is supposed to be Tokyo, like the tower in the Caesura of Despair video is literally Tokyo Tower. The same destroyed cityscape is in the Hololive Alternative Teaser PV during Roboco's appearance, same overgrowth and everything as from the Caesura of Despair MV.
What I have learned from this song is its ever-growing replay-ability, especially when you feel tired, down, or in need of ENcouragement. IRyS becomes your voice, the vibing push between your heart, body and mind that whatever grind you have for the day, the coming week/month, the knowledge, experience and everything you stored in your precious memories even uneventful will be the mirror of hope you'll look back in death and defeat. Then you'll be reborn into something _New._
I'm not gonna lie... I was tearing up while listening and following the lyrics. The message of this song makes this one of the strongest songs from IRyS. Even for a lazy guy like me, it really made me rethink the way I'm living my life right now and motivating me to do better so I can one day actually live my life just like IRyS said in her lyrics. I'm completely in awe because of the cinematic and how it is perfectly matched with the soothing voice of IRyS along the melody. Absolutely a masterpiece; IRyS' singing, the lyrics, and the MV!
I'm glad I woke up at 4am for the premiere. I personally think that the MV most likely has some parallels with the CoD MV (the destroyed city is a pretty obvious clue). I have a very wild imagination and a lot of lore theories inside my brain that connect "Journey", "Caesura of Despair" and "Till the end of me" together. So I'm very satisfied with the MV. But even if it's actually just some random fancy scenes put together (which I don't think it is), it still has fulfilled its purpose by feeding the imagination, also it looks very good (and I'm very thankful for the English translation from the beginning). I just hope that one day there will be official lore, whether a manga or even just a short story

This song sounds really slow and soothing, the soothingness of the song actually reminds me of "Flower of Hope", another favorite masterpiece I liked. IRyS singing those calm and relaxing songs are definitely one of my favorites when it comes to slow and peaceful music

This song sounds really slow and soothing, the soothingness of the song actually reminds me of "Flower of Hope", another favorite masterpiece I liked. IRyS singing those calm and relaxing songs are definitely one of my favorites when it comes to slow and peaceful music
