  • Another favorite as per request, goes really hard with that intense introduction to the security level.
System Shock Remake Soundtrack is by Jonathan Peros.
    ...
The abrupt end is due to me running out of energy mid-air with the Turbo Boots.

Continuing the tradition of System Shock games having a soundtrack that goes unreasonably hard

For future reference, if you look online there’s a cheat engine thing someone made that lets you enable the ingame console to give yourself god mode. Might make future attempts of recording escalation tracks easier

Honestly, if the original producer for the OG SS soundtrack had access to the technology we have today, especially the kind of stuff we can do with direct line-in with guitars to computers. I think it would sound very similar to what we got with Jonathan. All in all, awesome soundtrack!

the music system in the game is dynamic and generated on the fly, so yes he did just play without sound and recorded it

@@TheCakeIsNotLie well its like, conceiveable, that they arranged it themselves with the sound files from the game itself

@@EtherBotGames it is possible to do so, but i have digged through game files and there are literal dozens of audio files for each level soundtrack, so it is much easier to record it in game than create a custom arrangement
