I did buy the expensive thing and was very disappointed in it. NOT impressed. It fits very awkward, hurts in fact and the mask did not even out at all. It did not retain heat for very long. How heating above my eyebrow is suppose to help my eye is beyond me. Did not give me a moist heat. I am sending it back.
My favorite part about the mask is that it reactivates with a kettle. I'm curious if the mask designed with the open eye concept was done for the convenience of being able to wear it on the go or is a desireable component to treatment efficacy? The heat generated by the heat pack lasts about 8 minutes. Is it safe to boil all 3 heat packs at once?
The open eye design was done for both convenience and efficacy! It's a win-win over traditional closed eye masks. Yes, you can save time by boiling all of the heat packs together. Hope the TearRestore mask is helping you find relief!
This product sounds so good. May I know what temperature does it heat up to for the warm compress? I really want to end my dry tired eyes lol. The usual warm compresses is so tedious. Thanks.
"The TearRestore mask is perfect for you! Tedious traditional warm compresses inspired the development of this new mask. The heat pack reaches 47C upon activation and maintains above 40C for at least ten minutes.
The mask itself felt great but my entire eye area is now very red. It was really hot when I initially put it on. Should I let it cool down a few minutes before using? I have rosacea and I’m afraid it’s going to make it worse.
I was annoyed about having to boil it after use. I waited about an hour one day, and it wouldn’t return back to its liquid form, and it wouldn’t re activate again at all, and I had to send it back.
Can you comment if it’s advantageous that it has cutouts where your eyes are so it’s not pressing and warming your cornea? I’ve heard that direct heat on the cornea can lead to misshapen cornea or other issues later on. Is that true?

I am definitely buying it. How many times can you use a mask, before you need to replace it? Thanks
Each heat pack can be reactivated 60-90 times!

@@tearrestore2869 thanks! Definitely will have a look.
@@tearrestore2869 Is TearRestore One-Touch Reactivation Kettle really required at all? Thanks.
@@tearrestore2869 Also, is shipping to Australia free for over $100 usd?
Are there any studies or peer-reviewed articles that talk about it’s effectiveness? Everything I have seen on line has been anecdotal.
It’s my understanding they’re working on one.
How long after heating the mask in boiling water do you have to wait before reactivating it? I can’t get any of mine to activate.

How many uses does the mask have? Is there any more or less than advertised?
So it needs to be boiled daily or every 90 days?
After activation.
Daily if you use it daily. After every use you have to boil it to reset it.
does the mask come with a Doomah?
Will this help with twitching eyelids?
Try a magnesium supplement for twitching. I'm not a Dr. but was recommended to me me by one and it worked for me
this product didn't work at all and then you can't return it once you use it--I would I know it didn't work until I used it!
Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear it wasn’t a successful treatment for you.
Got one of these. Huge waste of money. A sock filled with rice is more effective than these. Returned them. What a rip off for $130.
I tried this thing. It was hard and painful. NOT worth it. DO NOT buy it is $$$$ and a waste
Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry it was not an effective treatment option for you.
To bad this didn't help my dry eyes
Sorry to hear that. How are you using the product?
