Those amps sold here in the USA in the mid 2000's. Can't speak for down under though. I'm a sucker for old school car audio amps. Especially when they were made in the USA. PPI, Orion, Rockford, Phoenix Gold, and Soundstream were a few of the top contenders back in the day. All made in the USA. 🇺🇸
@iceman45ification1 I’m with you on that. I’m looking into the new Orion XTRPro line bc I was too young when the HCCA amps were popular but I remember drooling over them in all the car audio magazines in the 90’s just dreaming I could ever have one
@@JayTR_10 have you seen the new Orion? They're going to start making them here again, and they're bringing back the old school NT100 and NT200 with updates. And, get this, they're going to make them right down the street where Orion used to be. In Tempe, Arizona. I really hope they can make it.
I actually had this exact amp. Mostly cause I was in high school and couldn’t afford the power class. Not sure if I would classify it as a cheater amp like Orion etc. It was a solid amp and never had a problem. Always wondered if it made rated power compared to the pc class. Never regreted buying it over audiobahn crap.

Same. I had Zapco Comp models running off eclipse head unit and running eclipse subs and components and it was all phenomenal equipment

That is miles and miles from a cheater amp. And 400 watts is nothing. On speakers with rise you might get 250 out of it. Might.
