Effort = Reward, well done Russ, as you say, every time we go out fishing we learn something new which adds to our armoury. Thank You once again for the effort you put in to bringing us these entertaining, enjoyable videos. 👍🏻🎣
Wow, that was hard work Russ, I do always find the harder the work the more enjoyable the catch. As always, I look forward to the next episode of fishing tail films..👌
@@Walsallgrower Thanks David, it is rewarding on those difficult days and patience being the key especially after losing a few hook links in snags. 👍🐟🎣
I've often found in coloured water like that Russ . Roach love a red worm or the tail of a lobworm and presented static where they can smell it in the murk . Tight lines 🎣🌞
Well done Russ , better man than me fishing the next day after such rain , I always give it at least 3 days , it takes that long for the rain to get into the rivers , I bet where you are will by tomorrow have an extra foot or more on, few days the colour will start to drop out leaving it perfect , Well done on what you did catch as you said kept you busy , I hope to get on the Gt Ouse midweek so look forward to that , Well done again for sticking with it , look forward to the next one mate 👏🏻👏🏻
@@nobbyclarke6051 Cheers Nobby, after more rain last night the river level has increased further. The trouble with working is I have to get out when I can but still enjoyed the session especially when I found them shoaled up at the back of the swim in a gentle flow. I am sure later in the season I will connect with the much bigger stamp of Roach that I have had out of the section. Good luck on the Ouse in the week 👍🎣🐟
@@nobbyclarke6051 Will be up on the Thames soon around Oxford and can’t wait to have another crack on those lovely Thames Roach. Last two weeks have not been able to get casters from my bait supplier which is a pain.
@@fishingtailfilms that’s good mate , South Stoke had been fishing well good bags of roach ,not so good last few days though , now we have had rain which is needed things should pick up a bit … Hope to be on the members at KW later this week all being well 🤞🏻
All came good in the end eh mate, you never know what's floating about in the flow when it's in flood eh Russ, looking forward to you doing well when you go for the Perch in the November trip mate, tite lines
@@pauledwards6470 It did Paul thanks, I like fishing those hard going days when trying to locate the fish. It was very snaggy as well and did a few hook links in the main deep flow. Looking forward to some big Perch sessions and filming it for the channel. 👍🎣🐟🎥
@@philthorpe7671 Thank you Phil, pleased you are enjoying the channel. I did think about lead or feeder tactics but the swim was very snaggy and I lost a few hook links in the main flow on the big stick until I located the shoal at the back end of the swim. 👍🐟🎣

Nice one Russ! Perseverance pays off! ❤️🎣❤️
It certainly does Andy, I knew they were somewhere in the swim and eventually found them hiding at the back end of a gentle run through. 👍

Great insight into your watercraft Russ, maybe that was a Pike you seen early on,may have been a few of them and they were making the fish finicky?
@@destobin4425 Thank you Des, there may well have been a pike or two about. It was good to find the shoal amongst the many snags. 👍🎣
Wonder if you would have been better on a small feeder of a straight lead and perhaps a worm hook bait ? enjoying your channel Russ keep em coming.

Know they're few and far between on your stretch but would love to see an upper Medway barbel video from you!
They are few and far between Simon but a great idea for a future video, will see what I can do 👍🎣
Is that a penshurst water Russ ?
Any news on Furness brook
