@@timmarshall7903 Thank you Tim, encouraging to see a few Perch on the river this season. I know a few miles down the river some big Perch have been reported so I am hoping a few bigger stripeys are on this section. Bring on the winter months 👍🎣🐟🪱

There's 5lb perch come out of where I fish the derbyshire derwent, I've never had nothing like that.. big or small perch always love fishing for em and the older I get (50s) the less I'm bothered tbf...as long as I'm catching and enjoying it the less I'm bothered. @@kevt7931 I have heard of some big Perch come out of the Derwent, huge fish that is Kev. I am pleased you enjoy the videos, I have some great venues coming up to film for the channel and can’t wait as my favourite time of the season is now upon us 🎥🐟🎣👍
Looks a nice peg there mate, nice looking Perch, could be a good swim in winter eh Russ ,like you say as long as it's not bombing thru and safe to do say eh mate,
Hello Russ. Fascinating video as always, which makes it all the more interesting as I'm in the same club. Loved the previous video featuring that deep corner swim further down too. Had a very similar experience this summer, lots of different species of a similar stamp, mainly on the float where possible but no bigger chub as yet (nothing over 1.5lb) which is very strange. It's definitely a water where patience and perseverence are needed to get the rewards, so really great to see a decent perch come out of that swim. Hopefully this autumn / winter will produce some larger specimens.. Keep the videos coming and I'll definitely keep watching! Tight lines mate.
@@rupertburdett Thank you Rupert, it is certainly a stretch of river that can test an angler’s patience. If the rain stays away or in moderation it will be an interesting winter ahead. Thank you for supporting the channel 👍 and good luck with your next session 🎣🐟

Have you tried the "Frenzied" Luncheon Meats ? They do F1 sweet, Krill, Washed out and corn mix flavours (& maybe more now) I find them all very good !! Good for business !! 💰💰💰 (Yes, I'm a tight Yorkshireman)
@@fishingtailfilms I also flavour ordinary, tinned meat with "Chinese Five Spice" powder with a drop of water just to dampen/Infuse it & had some good Commercial sessions using it. (I don't get out on the rivers these days)

@@robertsimpson4913 some anglers that watch my channel through disability or physically can’t slide down steep banks can’t fish rivers anymore so they find these videos as a bit of light relief and their fishing fix.
