Nothing at all against iOWNaFERGUSON, but this whole “Plowing Demonstration” thing has gotten completely out of hand- especially with the tandem tractors. Seems to be a whole lot of ‘More Like Things Used to be Than They Ever Were’. 3:37 Two three-bottom tractors hooked together pull a four-bottom plow. 7:17 A four-bottom and a three-bottom together pull a four-bottom plow. 7:44 Two four-bottom tractors work together to pull a four-bottom plow. 9:10 Two five-bottom tractors pull one five-bottom plow. Elsewhere we see big tractors pulling big plows, as they should. The whole idea of tandem tractors was to increase productivity using existing labor. Erm… What exactly are we ‘demonstrating’ here? I just find it a bit annoying…
