Hey man! How about if dropped the salt water? Do you think the USB-C port rust? Do you think the Clip 3 is better in this scenario because it has a rubber cover on it's charging port?
I'm not entirely sure, but salt water wouldn't do it any favours 👎
This was my concern to, I looked for the box to see if there was a little rubber fitted plug that inserts separately. I don’t think there is. Apparently it’s not necessary. Besides why put it in water, it sheds water just fine. Good enough for shower
Get the clip 3 it’s fully waterproof. I used it at the beach twice and it got submerged I cleaned it off so it wouldn’t get salty.

This thing looks cool and kinda practical if you love outdoor activities. I m not really concerned about its water-proof capability as it’s from a reputation name brand with profound history. I got myself one too just to compare the sound quality with my cheap Walmart ONN Rugged MD BT speaker. Surprisingly the ONN sounds more balanced than this JBL clip 4 😂 although the JBL tends to be have a bit more bass due to the presence of a passive bass radiator on the back. Anyways I shouldn’t be asking too much for a $45 speaker for sound quality. If I really need good sound reproduction I would listen to my tube amp.

I did the same thing but not that long only just a couple seconds test Nd now my charging port ain’t working now so sad :((
It'll probably dry out overnight. Leave it upright so any water can drain out of the point, fingers crossed 🤞

Return it, they assure it's waterproof so ask for a refund or exchange.
I use it for showering to be on the safe side

how long its charging time? how loud is it?
10 hrs
charges in less than 3 hrs.lasts 10 but i havent tested that part
@@Jewel3Diamond works longer for me if u charge it for 5 hours it can last up to 12 hours
How long should i wait to charge it if i dropped it in water?
3 hours should be enough or you could get a flat head cotton bud and gently dab it dry.

That's a good point, but pretty sure it won't make a difference as JBL say these speakers are great for the beach👌
