Just because the water can obviously sort of run back out the top, that's all. I use it upside down a lot and had no problems at all. I guess they have to cover themselves in case they get complaints about not warning people about it.

Yes on the Reinok you have that bass boost button. It does make a slight difference but it's not as good a quality as the flip 6. But the Reinok is far better value in my opinion as it's got a good overall sound and other features too for less than half the price of the flip 6. It depends on what you can afford. If money is tight get the reinok. It's a decent speaker. Hope that helps 🤞 👍

The battery power and how long it lasts is determined by how much charge it has left and that's about it tbh. There's really not much difference to the human ear between it being plugged in and unplugged regarding the output power anyway, at least not to me personally. So the answer to your question is no you can't trick the speaker to thinking it's plugged in when it isn't.

I totally agree with you 100 percent! Personally I don't like too much bass, but all the young people seem to love that heavy pounding bass nowadays. Too me it's too overpowering and takes away from any melodic aspect of a song. Each to there own though. And the Bose is a joke when it comes to price too! 👎

I couldn't advise on that tbh what with recent fires happening from certain batteries etc. They might be OK, probably are, but I certainly wouldn't leave anything plugged in while you're out. I never do. You can't be too safe! 👍

The Horizon isn't rechargeable. It needs to be plugged in to be on. It goes off when you unplug it or turn off the switch at the plug. It comes with a pre installed CR 2032 battery underneath the base of the speaker. This keeps the time and date up to date when it's turned off at the plug, so when you turn it back on again the time and date remain correct. This allows you to unplug it without losing the time and date. I don't like leaving things plugged in, so I'm always unplugging mine when I go out most days. To activate the battery you need to pull out the little plastic tab where the battery is 👍

You really need two speakers for surround sound, or at worst a stereo speaker if used alone. The Flip 6 is the best of these two and my personal favourite due to its size v sound quality. The reinok is fantastic for its price though so better value overall. Hope that helps 🤞

I've never updated any firmware on any of my speakers tbh. I don't see the advantage of doing so. It's just a speaker at the end of the day, and I'm a believer that if something is working OK why try to make it better?
