Wanted the clip 5 but noticed in videos clip 4 had better highs. I dont really want bass since its for riding my scooter i need loud highs, so ended up getting the 4 on sale and love it👍
Both clips sound better than the clip 3 the 4’s I have sound great, great color selection etc holding off for the deals for the 5 you always give a great video presentation.
Just ordered myself a sealed new in box Clip 5 for $57 after taxes and shipping thru winning an auction and I can't wait to test it out when It gets here in a few days. Been needing a new speaker and I've been hearing nothing but good things about this one
thank you for this review! you addressed all my concerns with this new speaker. i have the clip 4 and love it but i think it’s time to upgrade. my issues were the rubber falling off, power button gets hit by accident way too easily, and battery never fully charges anymore (just started happening recently) .
Just got the Clip 5 after my 3 died. I miss the speakerphone, 3.5mm and the floating ability. But the 5 build, battery, sound and stereo pair is a worthy trade off.
JBL should bring back the old emblem, the new rubber is easily teared off.

How much notch adjustments on the volume from the clip 4 to the clip 5 . I was told the clip 5 has less volume notch adjustments
