I just want to say thank you Austin for the videos, I been watching you since I was in middle school trying to learn how to find certain things and now I’m 23 years old still watching your videos videos haha ❤
I found an option that is much faster at defeating Incineroar: Soundproof Kommo-o w/ Lansat Berry (boosts crit ratio in a pinch). Adamant nature, Max EVs in ATK and DEF. Moves: Close Combat, Belly Drum, Screech, Taunt. (Tera Typing doesn't matter because it'll be over before then, and its current typing of Dragon/Fighting helps it resist both of Incineroar's STAB moves) So long as you don't get hit with Taunt, you can KO Incineroar in just 5 turns regardless of the NPCs around you. 1. Taunt (So he can't use Bulk Up) 2. Screech (lower DEF by 2 stages) 3. Belly Drum (max your ATK, and cut your HP so that when you get hit with an attack, Kommo-o will eat the berry and raise its critical hit ratio, either this turn, or after turn 4) 4. All out cheer (boost ATK further) 5. Close Combat FTW (with a crit, this should KO Incineroar before its shields ever go up)
Solo’ed with Malamar first try. Max ATK Max DEF Rest in HP Shell Bell with Contrary Tera Fighting Use Skill Swap as your first move. Try fainting, till then use some random move to charge your tera. After fainting get back Contrary. Tera and spam Superpower till +6, then proceed to spam Tera Blast.
I was able to solo this by having a malar with 252 attack and defense, use skill swap with contrary turn 1 if it doesn't taunt you, let malamar faint to regain contrary, spam super power holding a shell bell, and then when you have enough attack and defense tera into stellar type and spam tera blast
Sorry Austin John, but this didn't work for me, spent over an hour and a half trying it this way. Saw a reel showing Iron Hands using Focus Energy, Iron Defence, Belly Drum then Drain Punch, until the win. Worked 1st time Great video as usual though.
Okay, so a Modest Unaware Clefable with max HP and Sp. Attack with Reflect, Draining Kiss, Moonblast, and Calm Mind can ALSO work! I don’t have a clear strategy, you just kind of have to cycle through regaining health, Calm Minding at least 3 times, and Moon Blasting. Especially Moon Blasting towards the end because it was kind of cutting it close due to my one faint but at that point you won’t have to worry about using Draining Kiss anymore.
I love how you go in blind at first. thanks for the fun approach you take into all your videos. everyone else takes things way to seriously, and are overly critical.
It’s amazing how not only did GameFreak make a gimmick that fights the battle system itself, but the fact they made an online multiplayer gimmick make you NOT want to play with others and prefer the company of NPCs. 🤦🏻
Thanks for this! I already had a Clefable from the Sceptile raids, only took a little tweaking to get this build going and I got the Incineroar second try.
Use Malamar with Contrary. Worked for me every time. Moveset: skill swap, tera blast, reflect, superpower. First turn: (Providing you dont receive the taunt), use skill swap, giving Incineroar Contrary. Second: make sure Incineroar KOs you. Third: come back now with Contrary again. Every time Incineroar uses Bulk Up, it lowers its attack and defence; everytime you use super power, it raises your attack and defence. Fourth: use super power, repeat. You'll be done in a minute or so.
Dondozo strat seems to work out: Unaware Tera Fighting Shell Bell Max HP and Def - Chilling Water - Body Press - Curse - Protect or Liquidation Idea is to use Chilling Water three times. Then, tera + Curse six times, then Body Press your way to victory. Liquidation might work out if it gets Defense drops.
Finally got it with almost 1 second left of battle. Thanks for this guide. I know if you follow all the stats recommendations and steps it should be easy. But sometimes you dont have those pokemon at max so building them quickly requires a lot of money and items. I found that its possible with Koraidon but it felt too random and i was always just close so it got annoying. With Clefable its better with just giving it the moves, level 100, mint, and item. I skip the stats but if you get the moves on time its possible.
Failed a few times by running out of time due to having to heal cheer. I had a much easier time once I finally got two teammates that lowered attack, which was what I needed. Thanks!
I used urshifu water moves being Drain punch Bulk up Taunt focus energy Basically use taunt at the start to stop bulk up and then you spam bulk up and focus energy and do taunt again until his shield is up then just spam drain punch. Oh also the item is razor claw for more crits.
So I just managed this with Belly Drum Iron Hands. Here's my setup: Drain Punch (max pp) Iron Defense Electric Terrain Belly Drum Shell Bell 1 Intimidate partner Fighting Tera It was a bit close. I came down to my last drain punch. I probably would have had more time buffer if I had metronome for the item. The shell bell wasn't really necessary. Doesn't really matter if it Taunts you, just use the first couple turns to charge up your tera. After it resets your stats you can do belly drum and lay down some iron defense. With max defense and the intimidator doing its work you shouldn't be taking much damage regardless of Incineroar's Bulk Ups. Set up electric terrain to activate Quark Drive and activate your tera for additional attack boost. Spam drain punch until the end, resetting electric terrain as needed. I got a crit at one point that took out a big chunk of the health bar, but with how many attacks you'll be doing you should get at least one crit at normal odds.
At first I was thinking Dachsbun was the way to go but now I'm wondering if a pokemon with clear smog would be a need with all the bulk ups Incineroar does
after doing multiple battles for farming since it starts spamming darkest lariat after you psych up you dont have to worry about burn as much and using a mental herb to remove taunt can save reset times worst case if you dont get crit you take 3 or 4 flare blitz max so if your lucky enough you dont need the cloak
RUclips didn’t notify my about this video I got a notification from discord I even refreshed my notification page still nothing Edit got the notification 7 minutes after while I was watching the video
I used Azumarill (thick fat) and spammed chilling water while my team did damage.... he doesn't really do that much damage if you keep that attack in chech
Use Malamar to solo the raid. Shell bell Adamant nature 252 HP 252 Attack Fighting Tera Superpower Tera blast Skill swap Protect Turn 1: skill swap Turn 2-4: spam tera blast to charge tera orb and let yourself get knocked out The rest of the raid: once you’re knocked out once, you get contrary back so just spam superpower with tera fighting.
I used Enamorus. Contrary ability; Fighting-Tera; Adamant nature; Max HP & Def; Superpower, Tera Blast, Taunt. I make sure I have an AI partner with Intimidate and hope I don't get taunted. After the Snarl, I wait until Incineroar resets stats and then use Taunt followed by 3 Superpowers, Taunt again, Terastalize, then Superpower and Tera Blast until Incineroar faints.
You can also run Dachsbun with well baked ability, tera fighting, 252 hp and def with 4 going into attk, moveset I used was body press, charm, misty terrain and protect
I used a contrary-skill swap malamar I got just in case. Still has downsides, you're screwed if you're the one getting taunted. The only thing is I kept hearing people being like he spammed Bulk Up so I assumed it would be easier. Yes, I got it second go (Taunted first), but in my ones Incineroar only bulks up once. In my experience its just Flare Blitz spam.
I'm using Clefable right now, same stuff til after the 2nd Bulk Up it just spams Flare Blitz. Hasn't done anything else, I have about 1/3 health left to remove. Oh. It used Flare Blitz to KO itself, but was able to use Bulk Up one last time right before the battle ended, after Flare Blitz. That was dumb. But it all worked out.
Koriadon fighting tera was the only thing that worked for me. 3 sword dances, 2 defence cheers, 1 cure cheer & couple of drain punches and collision courses and it's done didn't need full attack buff or defensive buff. Didn't have an intimater either just need to use defensive buffs to keep your team from dying I'd say 2 koriadons in a team or 2 kommo-o's and it'll do as they can tank it out
I saw a clever teammate bring a Malmar to it with Contrary. Then he used a move to swap abilities with Incineroar, so every time it used Bulk Up, it lowered it own stats

Also stoked for new Merch!!!
No Infernape raid yet.
I like that you can always see if it´s the last hit because the timer just stops
I used urshifu water moves being
Drain punch
Bulk up
Taunt
focus energy
Basically use taunt at the start to stop bulk up and then you spam bulk up and focus energy and do taunt again until his shield is up then just spam drain punch. Oh also the item is razor claw for more crits.
What about EVs?
@@austinhall6002 max attack max defense
@@pokie7996 thank you
This, plus get at least 1 intimidate mon, get max def and max HP:
Taunt
Bulk Up x3
Taunt
Bulk Up x3
Taunt
Focus Energy
Drain Punch till u win
@@SeaOfPixels oh yeah intimidate for sure does help a bit more to live more hits.
Had to keep pausing throughout to take notes.
Hopefully I'll be able to do something now
Fun fact, if you catch it on the second weekend, you get the chance to catch it on a friday the 13th.
Why did it use iron head on me hahahaha, like stop bruh hahahaha
I used a Clefable with Reflect instead of Psych Up, and just managed a victory. Definitely needed an Intimidator.
I really enjoy that you go in to it blind at first, it's fun to watch
" Blue blue blue blue blue"
So I just managed this with Belly Drum Iron Hands. Here's my setup:
Drain Punch (max pp)
Iron Defense
Electric Terrain
Belly Drum
Shell Bell
1 Intimidate partner
Fighting Tera
It was a bit close.
I considered Torkoal making it fighting Tera and giving it clear body press and clear smog.
Finally, they made an adult version of pokemon Raid 😂😂 people are going to go crazy in random raids 😅
I’ve found the Intimidator partner(s) to be essential to the strategy. Otherwise you have to use Draining Kiss too many times and you run out of time.
Grimmsnarl works, reflect, taunt, bulk up and play rough. Fairy tera
At first I was thinking Dachsbun was the way to go but now I'm wondering if a pokemon with clear smog would be a need with all the bulk ups Incineroar does
I used malamar with contrary. Skill swap, superpower. Held item is mental herb
What were its EVs and Ivs?
@JudaiMaverick86 full attack, full hp and the rest in defense
after doing multiple battles for farming since it starts spamming darkest lariat after you psych up you dont have to worry about burn as much and using a mental herb to remove taunt can save reset times worst case if you dont get crit you take 3 or 4 flare blitz max so if your lucky enough you dont need the cloak
RUclips didn’t notify my about this video I got a notification from discord
I even refreshed my notification page still nothing
Edit got the notification 7 minutes after while I was watching the video
Unsub and resub
Wiggly can learn bodypress so I theory Tera fighting would kill
Helpful i actually was using clear amulet for stat change but the copy of stats makes sense
I used Azumarill (thick fat) and spammed chilling water while my team did damage.... he doesn't really do that much damage if you keep that attack in chech
Use Malamar to solo the raid.
Shell bell
Adamant nature
252 HP
252 Attack
Fighting Tera
Superpower
Tera blast
Skill swap
Protect
Turn 1: skill swap
Turn 2-4: spam tera blast to charge tera orb and let yourself get knocked out
The rest of the raid: once you’re knocked out once, you get contrary back so just spam superpower with tera fighting.
No shot! I used the exact same Clef set before even watching! Only differences were metronome item & IV spread
Oh noooooooo! I can't do this because I'm gettig my switch repaired! 😭
Primaria may work too
That shirt goes hard.. like vacation hard. Thanks for the upload, as usual.
'''That's a gg, preaty easy'' xD
I used Enamorus.
Contrary ability; Fighting-Tera; Adamant nature; Max HP & Def; Superpower, Tera Blast, Taunt.
I make sure I have an AI partner with Intimidate and hope I don't get taunted.
After the Snarl, I wait until Incineroar resets stats and then use Taunt followed by 3 Superpowers, Taunt again, Terastalize, then Superpower and Tera Blast until Incineroar faints.
You can either use unaware Clefable or I use tera fighting curse body press Dondozo.
Man, being stuck in the animations for SO LONG, WHY did they take out attack skipping!?!
You can also run Dachsbun with well baked ability, tera fighting, 252 hp and def with 4 going into attk, moveset I used was body press, charm, misty terrain and protect
pretty sure the AI will just never use Flare Blitz and you won’t get your Def boost
You think hell ever drop the rest of the shrine hunters 😂
Blue blue blue.. Blue blue blue.. Blue blue blue..🤣🤣🤣
This might be the hardest one since mewtwo
Koriadon fighting tera was the only thing that worked for me. 3 sword dances, 2 defence cheers, 1 cure cheer & couple of drain punches and collision courses and it's done didn't need full attack buff or defensive buff. Didn't have an intimater either just need to use defensive buffs to keep your team from dying I'd say 2 koriadons in a team or 2 kommo-o's and it'll do as they can tank it out
Wish K's ability didn't boost flare blitz up
Don't matter Vs a dragon he doesn't faint or use kommo-o max defense version
I keep getting KO by fire blitz if I use Clefable.
I used an unaware Dondozo with Body slam to beat the raid
