Matt Berry is a fucking dreamboat. Sexy as hell, a golden voice, and bears a striking resemblance to human bartender Jackie Daytona.
He’s kind of attractive but mostly he’s interesting and talented. For me what I like is his love of music, humble attitude and he appears to be a kind person

I love every show Matt Berry has been in - he's such a gift to comedy - but I will always have an immense adoration for "Garth Marenghi's Darkplace". That show is such a unique gem & it's criminal it only got one season.

Matt Berry's music career is no joke.. I listened to his albums after this interview and I was struck by how good some of the songs are on his first two albums in particular.
Just bought his Gather Up LP collection. It really is amazing. You can just relax to it.
True, my cousin introduced me to one of his comedy, and they would have music segments. He told me too, that’s actually Matt singing, I was like damn! Funny and musical genius! I realized that, this guys is amazing. Me and my family just always felt comedic and music is such an art and it’s hard to do one, he did both. Just appreciate this gentleman, he is a treasure.

14:09 - yeah it did, actually. It may have been late night on one of the independent channels e.g. Granada. But I definitely remember seeing it in the telly listings when I was little.
He’s a one track lover, on a two way laaaane. Driving fast down the highway, must have been insane.
I grew up in Essex but lived in north london just as long now and people think i've got a south london accent?!
Fascinates me how accents change just a few miles up the road.

Snuff Box is some of the best sketch comedy there has been. Rich Fulcher was the perfect costar. The blend with Berry's music worked brilliantly and added much to the humor, and I hate musicals (even though it's not a musical show, just has a few songs in it)

1. That Canadian accent is so brutal. We got tons but that's not a Toronto accent, sounds rural to me. Wee one??
2. Tom if you wanna rock out in Toronto you're gonna get the crowd you want at the Bovine Sex Club or Hard Luck.
Now look Berry..Baretta with his strange body, his very short legs, enormous yet undefined biceps, elongated torso and play doh like, unformed face, along with his parrot, was broadcast on BBC1 in the 70's. Saturday nights, or maybe Friday nights, but it was shown. I watched it. Alright buddy!
