Skiing Down Blackcomb Peak // D.O.A // Whistler Blackcomb

@SnowboardProCamp and I go touring!
Kevin and I started our day around 9 am when the alpine lifts on Blackcomb usually open. We did a few warm up laps and made our way up 7th. We did a short hike and dropped down into the T-Bar. After a quick tour up to the top of DOA we sent it! Snow was chalky and grippy in the shade, was absolutely epic skiing between all that rock! Once we got out into the sun the snow was a lot better, and we had a mellow ride back down to the village. The run lived up the hype over the past few years of me wanting to ride it!
Side note, I started the day with a full SD card from the day before, had to download the footage onto my phone so I could even film this day. Even worse, I recorded about 45 minutes of the GoPro in my pocket which killed my first battery. The cold did way with my second battery at the top of DOA but thanks to Kevin coming prepared with extras for me to use!!!!
